I hear ya Newcomer! Thursday nite is my drinking nite and oh will be it ever so sweet. Try interning at a Manhattan insurance brokerage firm, yikes. I had to sit in on the worst meeting this morning and I've been manning phones all day. But hey, I got offered a job here (because it's a family firm, but hey! it's still a job...)!
*sigh* Why must I be young and go to school in upstate NY? Why?

Wow, gone for a day and so much to catch up on!
I would just like to state, for the record, MoG and I had tickets to this thing, simply because it looked interesting, before Michael so much as glanced in its direction, just in case he should happen to pop in and think we're stalking him. Hey maybe we should be concerned it's the other way around. Okay maybe not.
For serious, I actually mentioned this to you based solely on the Playbill article which doesn't mention Michael at all. Truth be told, I wanted to see John Tart and Cheyenne! Now that we know Michael's music is going to be sung, this is going to make it even better! :)

Also this is the day after Michael Moore will be visiting. eh. I know someone who will want to come to this one. lol!

Hey guys. Im really having a crappy day so i thought i would come here for some Bare love. But noone is talkin and yet ANOTHER event I cant go to has been posted. The Bare folk sure know how to keep themselves busy! I hope everyone going has a ball

ETA: thats right I forgot untill I just typed it SJP was at Bare when we saw it the first time she was with Kristen Johnson sp? from third rock. She was talking to John in the hallway after the show and we went back in to buy a poster and saw her I wonder if they have connections to the show or were just interested in it!

This reminds of when MoG and myself saw Hillary Swank and her husband Chad Lowe at the Tribeca Film Festival last year and then a handful of days later, they were right behind us at Avenue Q. It's a small world after all... Yes, I'll have that song stuck in my head all day now.
We're going to see The Woman Upstairs tonight. I'm trying to figure out what role Michael would have played, without having seen it, my guess is the harried assistant to the lesbian boss. This should certainly be a long night, if nothing else. The thing runs 2.5 hours. OY and then some.

Right there with you. I am going up Oct. 2nd and catching the last 2 days of the festival. I think I have tickets to 6 shows, but may ditch one if I can get Ave Q tickets. Then there is the concert Monday. I may need a vacation after my trip!
Of course this can only happen if I quit lurking & get work done.

I might have broken a personal record. I was actually on the phone for three hours just now. :) For those that know me, this is not shocking news!

I LOVE ANI DIFRANCO AND MARGARET CHO! I member as a little girl listening to margaret cho and her talking about here karokae tapes and how in the back of the music you can her mom screaming... still makes me giggle to this day!
So yesterday I was listening to one of my friends ipods and it was on random... and the next thing you know 911 emergency came on and I freaked!
This is a big thing for me! I just found the only other BARE fan in kansas... WHOA!

Oh, and my drama prof is letting me out of class a day early thanksgiving break so I can get to NYC w/dramatrojan in time to see a show Tuesday night. Yay for professors that are lenient with attendance!!!

You need to tattoo "I Heart ________ __________ (insert Bare cast member here)" on your forehead and then you're in! Ha. Welcome to the family! (That sounds kind of like we're the mafia...)
*SIGH* There is nothing like coming home from a nite of drinking to your Bare family, left over Thai, and west coast episodes of Full House. I love it!
