some good news --
yesterday, I went out job hunting for the umpteenth time. I filled out an application and interviewed at Red Lobster, filled out an application and was told interviews will be held within two weeks at Bennigan's, and filled out an application and was told to return to interview in two weks at Texas Roadhouse.
Last night, I was givena message that I recieved a call from "one of those places" while I was out yesterday eveninga nd that they would be calling me back today..
*crosses fingers**

Good luck BG2!!!
And BK, not to start an argument or anything, but isn't starting a new "home" almost insulting to BWW and giving in to the few people on this board who are giving us difficulties?
Almost like letting the "enemy" win....
Just my two cents. Take it as you will.

Perhaps Bare should have gotten Britney's support instead!
This would have been one way to get publicity. Dios mio.

2Day-thought about that myself, but I don't see why we can't do both (plus, just more things for me to distract myself with.) There are great things about both places, so let's take advantage of them.
Ah...Britney as bare's sponsor. Hm... that's a thought.

Well she's already killed My Prerogative, why not just kill Broadway while she's at it?
Maybe we could get her to host a Bare telethon or something.

I've just started to breathe again, thanks, thanks a lot!
Speaking of a Bare concert, should this all fall through, they should do a concert reading and put it out on DVD or do a one time, full staging of the show and put it on DVD. I'd buy ten copies just to support them in some capacity! Yes indeedy.

No problem! I thought you would enjoy it!
It would probably be more trouble than it's worth to fully stage just one performance....but hey, if they wanna do it, I'm all for it and buying 10 copies! HAHA
I do like the concert idea.....just as long as they release the full recording eventually.

I feel that we have tried to be nice and conciderate to the board, we HAVE after all kept over 4000 posts within this thread however, this place on yahoo is better. We can all upload photos of the cast and things ( I already have some up), we can post files and music in it, there is a calander started with dates for john and michaels apearences. its an easier way forus to live in peace. Yes we can still use this place. we are just PUTTING AN ADDITION on to the house lets say. cause lets face it we are getting pretty huge, did u not see the list I posted on the thread that POed us all yesterday and I know I forgot some others (spider came to mind afterwards) I do love it here I just feel we have outgrown it and insulted yesterday
AND we can be as off topic as we want and not drive the moderators here mad

BARE FANS (to the BWW community)
I'd trade places with you in a ****ing heartbeat
Remember back in late July
Endless posts of Michael love
Double posts in busy threads
The Brooklyn fans that we've above
I think that Playbill took this picture
Back when bare was playing here
Performances that rocked and rambled
Would play again, the date was near
but cash is short and money's strange
Trouble now from hopeful past
Shows have changed they rearrange
And Bombay Dreams is set to last
Hear it how the words would tumble
Peter, Jason, Nadia
Haunted daunted so unwanted
Feel the angry fans all crubmle
Dream a show and then just flick it
Broadway's there to interrupt
Someone out there buy my ticket
Look at this, it's so corrupt
Good Baree fan, her CD's scratched
And now of course it comes to this
If only the producers matched,
Our show we wouldn't have to miss
It hits me like a church that's empty
Face the refund, give a sigh
Just another bare supporter
One more sad statistic now
Dream a show and then just flick it
Broadway's there to interrupt
Someone out there buy my ticket
Look at this, it's so corrupt
Look at this, it's so corrupt
Little lies and postponed dates
Who to ask and where to buy
Follow the producer's vision
Or do I know, it's a lie.
Am I suppose to leave, abandon
Is it just that simple then?
Tell me when this show will happen
Tell me how and tell me when
Tell me how and tell me when
Dream a show and then just flick it
Broadway's there to interrupt
Someone out there buy my ticket
Look at this, it's so corrupt
Story ends in total damage
It’s an unforgiving day
From now on how will I manage
How can I
I’m just a fan

Anyway, I've been listening to No Voice like, for the last half hour straight. So amazing...
Britney inspired by Wicked, huh? Interesting...
I'd totally buy 10 DVDs!

Ga, that was brilliant! Bravo.
And yeah, um, this is getting a bit ridiculous. I counted all of those freakin' pennies for NOTHING! Newcomer, I'm so upset I could just SPIT! I passed by Dodger Stages today and shed a tear.

Bare might be delayed, but you can still catch Michael Arden as he opens the new concert series "Broadway's Brightest Lights" on Monday night, October 4th at 8:30pm at Feinstein's.
In the show, Michael will be performing the works of four composers - Ricky Ian Gordon, John Bucchino, Jason Robert Brown, and last, but certainly not least, his own music as well. Accompanying him will be Matt Richardson on piano, Clara Kennedy on cello, and Victoria Paterson on the violin.
Just got this in an e-mail. I mean, I already knew about it but still... It sounds so amazing. Why don't I live in NYC???? WHY WHY WHY????????????? Oh that's right, 'cause I'd be even more broke than I already am... At least it makes me feel better when things say that bare is "delayed," with no qualifiers... I'm sorry if we've discussed this, I've kind of been in a daze the last couple days, but anyone going to this?

Oh John... John... John... I feel horrible for all of them. Damn, the only thing I can offer is my sympathy ... or my spare bedroom rent free! Oy.
Now Bare has turned into Brooklyn, a bunch of homeless streetsingers.
And John doesn't think he's talented or good looking enough? Listen, I know we all obsess over Michael, but the reality is were it not for the other half of Peter/Jason making him shine, we may never have noticed Michael either. It was John who would always get me going with the waterworks in Once Upon a Time. I just hope he knows how much his talent contributed to the production and everyone else's performance as well.
This just all sucks.

Oh no, that's horrible. We love John!!!! He really does add so much to the show, and now that I've listened to more than the sampler, his stuff really gets me. He's amazing!!
I just hope he knows how much his talent contributed to the production and everyone else's performance as well.
Exactly. It's horrible that this financial stuff can make him feel so bad. It's not his (or any of the actors') fault that the show has been delayed...
