should that post be taken seriously or is it, like the rest of the journal, farcical in nature and he is taking advantage of a bad incident and making light of it?

For the first time reading John's Journal I didn't know if I should be laughing! I hope you are right BWG2, and I really think you are! I think all of the entries come from something real and then he makes them a joke! But this is a little too soon John, the wound is to fresh
And if Im wrong: you are all 100% correct John is a HUGE part of what makes that show so special! And if he really cant pay his rent, looks like we need a real Bare Family Fundraiser!!!! hehe

I suppose he could be (or at least part of it), but the not being able to pay rent thing isn't particularly funny no matter how you look at it. Then there's always the matter of there being a grain of truth in every joke...

Gone a day and now I need to defend John Hill's honor.
It's no secret that I love the guy like a fat kid loves cake. He's talented, funny, gorgeous and so nice. The fact that not everyone sees that or that John doesn't know that about himself is shocking.
Oh John. I couldn't love you more if I tried.
Having said that, I just got home from an AMAZING Bare thread day. I got to meet my FB, 2Day4U and he is the sweetest, cutest and most adorkable boy known to man. For serious, yo.
FB, you make me wish I was a gay boy even more than I do now! :) I <3333 you! :)
We caught Steve and Jim's amazing "The Big Voice" and met with TheGaisSilent and Faile. :) Jim and Steve gave yet another AMAZING performance. I honestly don't know how they do it.
Steve, you're so wonderful and it was great seeing you again! :)
Then met up with the BFF, Trisky, our other friend Rafal and the uber cute Starlyricist and we all saw The Woman Upstairs. Great fun and incriminating photos all around. :P
So tired right now but had a great day meeting up with everyone. We totally have to do it again. :)

so yeah. just got back from The Woman Upstairs with MoG, Trisky, Faile and 2day4u. fabulousness. though we were all sad that Michael Arden was no longer a part of the show, i enjoyed myself immensely. i know it's sort-of off topic. just had to post that.
2day4u, i hope you get back alright! it was great to meet you! *big hugs*
and faile, you're good at disappearing. i mean, one minute you're there and POOF we thought we had lost you to all of the hordes of theatre people.

Mmm. WDIN! We can't wait to meet you! Damn being in Arizona. Can't that be closer to New York? We can TOTALLY remove New Jersey and replace it with Arizona. Useless state that it is, New Jersey. Bleh. But subject of a faaaabulous movie. Mmm. Garden State. Go see it!

Had a great time tonight, so great to meet 2day4u who is as cute as can be and to see starlyricist again! Even if he's scared the bejeebus out of me about going to see Brooklyn.
Sadly we saw a Bare poster, *sob*, up on 51st, *sob*. It was quite painful.
The Woman Upstairs seemed more comprehensible somehow today. The last time there were just a lot of people doing a lot of things that were unclear. I wonder if it was tinkered with between shows? I would have liked to see what Michael would have done with the show.
Wish I could have charged my way through the crowds a little faster to get you all to Grand Central on time. I tried my best! Next time I'll just have to start kicking people.

Oh Trisky, s'okay! I'm sure 2day4u will get home fine, and he got to spend more time with the FG and moi! And take more incriminating photographs. Mwahaha. Can't WAIT to see my porno pic. :)
But gurl, can you work the streets! I've never seen someone work through crazy mobs of touristy theatre people better than you did! Brava!

It was so lonely here without you guys today. I actually studied for my organic chemistry test. Ech. I went to a lecture today about the crusades, and one of the presenters was really boring, so I sang through the sampler CD in my head (i don't know the rest of the show well enough, but hopefully it'll keep me awake in some of my classes once I do.)
I got some bad news last night. My grandpa fell and broke his hip and he has to have surgery. It's really risky for him because he has trouble getting oxygen, so I'm worried. If you don't mind, please keep him in your thoughts/prayers for me.
Thanks, lots of love.

But gurl, can you work the streets!
Funny, I was just going to suggest the same thing to you, given that picture! There's a career option for ya!
I've never seen someone work through crazy mobs of touristy theatre people better than you did! Brava!
It's really just my overwhelming hatred for the congestion in the Times Square area that fuels me.
I hope 2day4u is merrily rolling along the highway right now.
Jess, I hope all turns out okay for your grandpa. He'll be in my thoughts.
