I am so sad to hear this news. But good thing Michael Moore is speaking today in the auditorium at my university because all my theatre classes which happen to take place in the aud have been cancelled. Therefore my drunken friends and I have thought it appropriate to begin drinking at 10am.
What do you expect from the drunken family member.
But at least I have been okay to take this news. I have not over-reacted yet but wait until tomorrow at 9am after my calculus exam when most likely I will be sober. Im sure I will be sad then. okay. byeee!

I'm so sad...I left my room at 9 this morning and just got back to this news...great way to end a wonderful day, I guess...I hate Thursdays.

Or if they do re-open with the same cast it'll be a really long time before there's one and if they re-open with a different cast, I won't want to hear them (particularly if that other cast didn't include Michael and/or John).

Posted: 9/30/04 at 8:18pmit's true. the box office told me in person tonight that it won't be at least, if at all, until january. I was too depressed to ask how he knew that. He also said that the stage will be 'held open' for the show(how is that economically feasible?)

Thank you so much, 13! The week is thankfully going much better and everything is almost resolved! Unfortunately, this had to come along, but I will survive.
I truly think that everyone involved with this show loves it too much to let it not open ever again. I could be wrong, but that is my thought.

OK I am really sad now! I can NOT believe this is happening! AGAIN. I know that is highly repetative of what everyone else is saying but i really have no words. Im sad that its posponed and im more sad that people on the board have found it fun to make thier little digs at us! It shocks me i mean we are trieng to play by the rules and keep this bare lovin condenced but they just cant let it be! Isnt there someone in the family that has the know how to make us a home, a message board away from this one! I like the idea of keeping our thread alive but I dont like people retailiating against us! I will help of someone knows how to get it going!
Maby those of you going to Michaels show and the Queer Songbook can get some more insight from the people who really know whats gonna happen!

mes-AMEN!!! I would totally start another thread. I don't understand how people can be overjoyed at the fact that a group of talented actors could be potentially out of a job. How is the a happy thing?!
It's not like they're sitting around each day going, "Hmmm. How can we make our fans make a little longer, drive them a little bit more crazy?" The actors have no power of it and it seems like those jerks are placing it all on their shoulders!

Sadly, from what I've heard [if things go the way that they are talking] the whole original cast might not be hanging around. *CRIES OUTLOUD*
