I'd call Telecharge, since we're all pretty much in the dark. Please post what they said if you end up calling, it'll help a lot of people

HAHA MOG!!! That made my night, for serious
:) Yeah, I'm so "down" it hurts. :P
I am so whining right there with you!! And I was planning on coming up from DC and hitting the show twice in one trip. I was treating a friend for her b-day. I hope she wants to reschedule the whole trip!! My free time in the fall will be limited and any trip I make to NYC must include BARE!!
I can't believe that. I am so sorry hon. Seriously. I hope we can reschedule getting together and everything.
WAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

It was thanks to you & Trisky that I found out about this show, so we have to reschedule!! I just feel bad for those who were planning to travel farther than me. I hadn't scheduled a hotel or booked a train yet. A trip from to DC to NYC is pretty easy to schedule.

I've still got this urge to make a day trip to see it. Must quit thinking such things!! Especially since I am behind at work, moving in 2 weeks, going to Savannah next weekend, and I start classes Aug 30th. I'm getting exhausted just writing about it, let alone doing it.

glad to see the Max icon back.
Yeah... I remember sitting on the stair that had the big chunk missing waiting for Micah to call my name as people in line with tickets looked at me like I was odd. LOL.

So, I was just on Telecharge, and think I made a discovery. I was looking up random dates for Bare in Dec and Nov, and it always came up with Row B 101, etc. Now, somehow I doubt that all of Row A is sold already for New Year's Eve, so...Row A=Rush Seats????

Actually 2day, if you try to get 2 tickets for any night, you get Row A. For one ticket they start you off in Row B. (I tested out a bunch of nights, because I'm a dork like that.)
Telecharge.com is weird though, you get the same sequence of tickets every single night, if you're looking for different seats, for 2 tickets it goes Row A, Row F, Row H, Row H, Row M, etc. For 1 ticket it's Row B, Row G, Row G, etc.
I don't get how they pick and choose their so-called "next best available". In my mind next best available means the next set of sequential seats after the ones already bought. I've tried randomly doing 10 tickets at once and there's a sequence to the way they sell those as well. (Of course the fact that you can get 10 tickets in several rows together is ... not good.)
ETA: While I'm here, what's up with the Dodgers sending out discount offers for that aquatic show they have and nada for Bare? Oy.

It is soooo funny that you guys are talking about the way Telecharge sells tickets or pick the best available, becuase I purchased three last night for Oct. 13th and they gave me B101-103. Just because I am completely strange about getting the best seats that I can I called back a while later to see what was available, and she said they had B 104-106, now correct me if I am wrong, and I realize no seat is really going to be bad, but aren't those seats more centered than the ones they sold me? I was sooo confused, because on top of that they were saying that they were listed as "center orch", which to me they seem like they are on the left? Who knows, as far as, the whole Row A being Rush, I would absolutley LOVE that!!! I also had them check for the other days I would be able to go and all that kept coming up was B101 and over, so now I am thinking maybe I should try just for two tix, instead of theree?

I bet you don't mind doing that bwg2
What it boils down to is that Best Available seats is a big joke. The system skips rows, so while the first set of seats it gives you may be "best available", if you choose not to take the first set, the second set probably isn't the "best available" seats. I personally think center orchestra is better in the 4th or 5th row than side orchestra in the 2nd row.
I'm also betting that when you call Telecharge the sales people are probably using the same system that is available online, so they can't look at a seating chart to see what is available. It may be better at the box office. Is there a box office at Dodger's?
Trisky-- you crack me up! Of course I figured out pretty much the same thing..lol

It's the math demons haunting me again!
Broadwayguy, no need to be confuzzled since Faile explained it much better than I did!
adampascalgirl, you and I are in the same boat. Telecharge's seating chart looks completely different than the Dodger's seating chart and if I'm reading the Dodger's chart correctly the seats run in sequential order, not in odd/even number, so 101 would seem to me to be on the side and not in the center. Also there are two that seem to be together on Telecharge, can't remember the numbers right now but they're in Row A, but on the Dodger's chart seem to be split by an aisle. I'm just thinking this is poor planning on the part of Telecharge/Dodgers.
If they have Row B seats available why would they offer say Row F as the next set of best available seats, if you turn down Row A? Of course, they probably don't expect that people like me are sitting around testing out their system either. Hee.

Hey guys! I need my BARE buddies!
I offcially found out today that my dad is moving to Arizona bc of a job offer and if I want him to still support me I need to move with him. Also, he is not letting me go back to the school I went to because "its unrealistic to pay that insane out-of state tuition for a school you dont totally love." So i have no friends! No Chicago or school friends!
Im sad
Okay, this really should be on tbe off-topic boards but...anyways BARE ROCKS!

Sorry to hear that WhatDoINeed....I myself have never done it, but I know from others how hard moving away from all you know can be.....I wish you the best when you do move!
ECas...totally loving Nadia at this time! Love Spring, and she has the funniest lines in the show! Love Natalie's delivery, too. Does anyone know if we'll hear more soloing from her in the fall???
