I know Trisky. Thank God for sheisty friends that don't want to go out and party. It almost would have been too much. Heck, I almost needed some oxygen sitting that close to them at Joe's Pub.

I'm back. 6 Pages wow!! All the Michael love. I can't take it. Listening to him now actually share the bare love

I'm telling you. John Hill better come back fast because my love for Michael is just overflowing at the moment.

MOG - I noticed your icon is back to Michael! Didn't anyone in LA share seeing John performing in Hairspray? Of course, who could resist Michael's talent & sweetness.

Savannah was GREAT! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was and I was surprised at the art scene in Savannah. Also went to Club One where the legendary Lady Chablis used to perform. It was an experience!

Trisky & Blue Wizard - since we spent a day at the beach & I'm not much of a beach person, I spent a day reading At Swim, Two Boys & I'm on page 192 & I am absolutely engrossed.

Back to the Michael love...

Welcome back Faile, glad to hear Savannah was a good time! Was there ever any doubt of the Michael love overflowing while you were gone?

Though the title of this post is probably a bit misleading, "Bare Cast", when it seems like "Michael and everyone else". Hee!

And so nice to see you jump on the Michael icon bandwagon starlyricist. I see the cult is coming along nicely these days...

At least we know we can rely on broadwayguy to always have his Adam icon, to keep us down to earth around these parts!

On another note, steering away from Mikey...

I just listened to John Hill doing "It Takes Two" from Hairspray. I mean, I love John. He's done some great things in 'bare', but this made me CRINGE. Maybe it was an off day, but honeychild. OW. I wish I could have seen him do Link, but let's just hope this was an off night.

Did you listen to the clip he has on his site, starlyricist or another clip? I actually don't think the one on his site is all that bad.

I LOVE John's version of "It Takes Two" on his site. LOVE IT!

But I agree with Trisky. Go listen to "Origin of Love" and tell me he doesn't sound amazing. Le sigh. Oh John, where are you? share the bare love

As soon as you're done with that book Tracee, you must lend it to me. I feel like we've started a Bare Book Club and I'm not a member. share the bare love

Faile, welcome back! Glad that Savannah was fun. :)

WhatdoIneed, I'm sure you look adorable no matter what hair color you have!

Was there any doubt? However, I fear your reading habits may need to be amended in order to read this book. As in, you might have to read it somewhere other than the subway!

LOL! Are you implying that my "read a book on the subway so randomly random people don't talk to me" method is somehow lacking?

Nice interview with Jim Price up on the Barees site. I really liked him at Joe's Pub.

But my official whine of the day... where is Michael's interview??

Thanks for the heads up Trisky. It feels so formal to call you Trisky. Hee.

And I really liked this part. Ahem.

Dodger: Like in the scene when Jason comes to you in the confessional and seeks your advice about Peter?

JP: Exactly. John Hill [as Jason] put a tremendous amount of passion into that song. It's the focal point of that struggle. He made my job a lot harder. As the Priest, I know what I am supposed to tell him. But what is my role really? I ask myself that a lot.

Le sigh.

I'm so happy so many people are now reading "At Swim, Two Boys" by Jamie O'Neill! The power of book recommendations. (mwahahaha!) It's such a beautiful book and took O'Neill ten years (!!!) to write. Actually, O'Neill's story on how he ended up spending 10 years of his life writing it is also very interesting; I could go into it if anyone wants (but it might make this thread stray once again). In any case, when the book came out, it was a huge critical success, so I'm surprised so few people have heard of it.

When everyone's read it, let's start an off-topic thread to discuss it! (Since only one person I know offline has read it.)

About Michael's hair: I adore the blond (particularly when it grew out a bit, so that the dark roots gave the blond a richer hue), but I do prefer the dark brown. It's a bit more down-to-earth and boy-next-door.

Gotta get back to work, or else the boss'll catch me.

And even though you just beat me Broadwayguy, here are three more Adam pictures I took at Bryant Park. Hope you feel bad now for the bruised nose. share the bare love
