BCEFA Fall Collections

They started collecting on Friday the 21st. Has anyone been to any shows that have been collecting? I saw that the Carols for a Cure CD is out, too.

Per usual, shows in preview normally don't collect until after Opening, if they collect at all.

I was at Oh, Hello last night and they had signed window cards and playbills. They also signed a can of tuna on stage for which they requested $100, and they said they'd be willing to do more should there be the demand for it.

Signed Poster - $80

Signed Playbill - $20

Carols for a Cure - $20

Photo/Selfie with a cast member - $20.

They also had hand-made ornaments that I believe were $10

I think they started collected on Tuesday because I saw someone with a signed Playbill in one of those plastic bags on the subway.

"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." I really hope Falsettos collects, I saw it and was completely taken with it- not to mention the subject matter is really close to home for BCEFA!

I was at Matilda tonight and they are selling:

$10-- color changing Matilda pencil and/or flashlight pen

$20-- Carols for a Cure CD

$20-- Matilda pencil case with stickers, the flashlight pen and some other goodies

$40-- full cast signed Playbill

$100-- full cast signed poster

And then Lesli Margharita joked one of the ensemble kids was also on sale for $100, which got a few laughs.

I saw Waitress on Thursday night - it was signed playbills for $25 and signed window cards for $100. Christopher gave the funniest and most uplifting, positive collection speech I've ever seen, btw.

I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

Last night, Color Purple also was offering a "#IMHERE" t-shirt as part of a partnership with the Police Athletic League -- hashtag on the front, cast signatures on the back, TCP logo on one sleeve and PAL logo on the other. Apologies but I do not recall the price.
