When Beetlejuice starts performances again, is there a period where it's considered "previews" since it at a new theatre ?

Looking at Ticketmaster, I'm guessing they'll have 9 previews, with an official opening on April 17th.

The show has been tweaked and retooled therefore it’ll have a preview period as mentioned above. The return isn’t the same show that played Broadway prior to shutdown. Even the Delia/Miss Argentina track has been split, which is just one of the several changes this new version has made.

Given the fact that the show closed prior to the pandemic (in advance of Music Man moving in), would this production be considered a “revival?”
Could any aspect of the production (e.g., performances) be considered for Tonys again?
I was curious, as I don’t ever recall circumstances such as this occurring with a show…

This will probably still be considered the original production. Take away the pandemic and the show probably would have found a new theatre anyway.

Did they make a closing announcement? They were always very specific in their wording that they were going to play their last performance at the Winter Garden in June 2020. And after that date passed with no Broadway re-opening they updated to say "we have played our final performance at the Winter Garden. Stay tuned for updates" or something like that. But regardless, OuttaTowner said it closed "before the pandemic," but it didn't. It still had 3 months of performances left
