So, Pal Joey is performing. I wonder what number they'll do? Probably one of the smaller ones that don't include people who aren't nominated personally.

Posted: 5/28/09 at 11:47amSo what is this now, the third or the fourth year that we've had some kind of Jersey Boys performance on the Tony Awards? And Legally Blonde wasn't good enough to perform when it was on Broadway, but now that it's on tour it is? Some random performance choices in there.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I think it terrible to give performance spots to touring shows...two of which have no problems selling tickets. I just don't understand.

Yeah, I imagine they're just trying to appeal to as many people as they can.
Legally Blonde will bring fan girls and possibly a younger audience, Mamma Mia! appeals to the masses, Jersey Boys also.
The people who watch for the new shows will always tune in, they'll just want more viewers.
