She called it a soundtrack....uuuuuuuummmmm!
The blonde Billy was not a great singer, I understand he's young but......yeah.
I was so thrilled to see Kiril doing this! I thought he was wonderful. Billy isn't supposed to be a great singer. He's a DANCER. Remember?
Obviously Kiril is the only one I've seen play Billy so far so that makes this clip (now on tape) extra special to me. BRAVO!

I'm at work so I cant see the clip--was only Kiril on?
No - they interviewed all three boys and Elton John. But Kiril performed Electricity the way it's done in the show.
That was great...and it was Kiril (the only Billy I have seen)!!!
LuPonatic...I knew the minute Sheri said that someone on here was going to say something!
The Elton John interview just finished here. The kids are on next.
Wonderful clip, they're all adorable. I like Kiril - he was very well spoken and the number was amazing.

They really gave Elton and the "show" a lot of air time. People who have not heard about it (and there are some) will probably buy tickets now.
Did Kiril miss his cue or did they just not bring his mike up in time? When I saw the show he came in too early in Stars Look Down but recovered so smoothly.
Wow, that was wonderful! Makes me really excited to see this show.

Is it just me, or is his singing kinda painful?
He's got a good handle on the accent as well - I'm more impressed than I expected to be.

Painful???
MUCH worse than Painful.
Poor boy; what happened to his singing? Does he sing this bad in the show? The dancing was good, but the singing was really......painful
I didn't find his singing that bad....I mean, no he's not going to win some grammy for vocals but he was passable. Isn't Billy more about the dancing anyway? I thought he danced it flawlessly. I kind of wished David performed the number, but I just prefer his interpretation of the role.

Great segment and promotion for the show -- and I love Elton's dogs!! :) Updated On: 11/11/08 at 04:13 PM
Responding to sock puppets is never worth your time and it only encourages them.

I thought he sounded a little shakier than when I saw him live, but damn, he was being being broadcast nationwide. I would probably be a little shaky too in that instance.
Is his performance on The View any indicator of who the producers are wanting critics to see or is it just random? Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen anything about how they are going to handle reviewing the boys.
David is on tonight, which is apparently the "major" press night.
