Thanks!
I believe all of the people that did rush got seats in the 1st 2 rows.
I did it tonight and was front row center. There appeared to only be one seat in the row as everyone else had gotten their tickets through other sources. The person in front of me got Orchestra P ~ I think he had been offered several options...but he needed 2 tickets.
What time did you get there, jordangirl?

I did rush on Thursday April 30th after losing a lotto around 6:15 and got two seats front row center mezzanine. Great seats.
I was there at 6 when they started selling them.
Has anyone rushed recently? What has it been like on a weekday?
My daughter and I got rush tickets for yesterday's matinee. Their rush policy is to sell them two hours before curtain. We got there twenty minutes early, and there was one person ahead of us. Only two more arrived by the time they starting selling. We got row 'B' orchestra, all the way to the side.
While I'm here, I should add that the show is in absolutely terrific shape. I had seen an early preview and loved it, but it is much, much better now. Only bummer was that Lansbury and Ebersole didn't come out, but Everett and Atkinson couldn't have been more gracious.
I rushed last Friday night. I got there after 7pm for the 8pm show and still got a ticket without a problem. The box office guy couldn't have been nicer. I got a seat in the mezz - great view!
You shouldn't have any problem getting a ticket at any time.
Madbrian, I can't BELIEVE Atkinson came out! What was she like? I have seen the show 4 times and stagedoored it (onlooking) twice more besides, and never seen her come out. She is SO brilliant in this play. Just absolutely, consummately laugh-inducing.

How has rush been recently, during the last few weeks of the run? I'm thinking of rushing tomorrow, and I'm wondering what time I should get there. Do they still give out better seats closer to curtain, or should I be at the theatre around 10?
I went July 1st and got there about ten minutes before they went on sale. There were only a few people there at the time and I got Center Mezzanine, Row J.
July 4th I showed up after a lotto around 6:20 and we got 3 seats mezz B left
Went on Tuesday (I believe it was June 30th) after losing the HAIR lotto. It was pouring so we waited for it to slow down till we walked to the theater and got there around 5:30pm. Got mezz row J, seats 107-108. The view was actually really wonderful! There were lots of seats empty in the side rows in the mezzanine so I don't think that you'll have any problems. I totally recommend this show if you can see it before the run ends.
What are the chances of getting tix at the TKTS booth for tonight s show? I plan on going there around 5.

You were absolutely right! Front row seats!
Could you tell me if there are any gunshots or loud sound effects in it? Have a bit of a phobia going on.

All I can recall is the end where (without spoiling it for you) some pieces of scenery make what you may consider to be a bit of a loud noise. Nothing much though. Enjoy it!
Great! Thanks for the heads up! :)
So far it s excellent!
So the actors usually come out to sign?
You can never tell with this production. If it's a Wednesday night probably not for Angela. I'm sorry. Better luck with her on Sundays and Tuesdays.

Pretty sure it is student rush, but I haven't tried in a few months, so it might have changed.
Student, but they are so nice that anything is possible. They have regularly priced tickets at $36.50, which is ten dollars more than student rush at $26.50.
