Just finished reading through the entire 6 pages - so glad I asked the question, especially as I can never find what I'm looking for when I try searching. Thanks!

As a long-time lurker I just want to add my thanks for these memories. I've read this post a few times in the last few years, but never actually said "Thank you!" :)
I can't believe I haven't said thank you either. I always enjoy re-reading this thread. Thank you, PalJoey, for all of your wonderful stories!
Just read this entire thread. Wonderful!
Every now and then, we've got to remember these stories.
Thank you for the wonderful stories, PJ, so beautiful and moving. And if you ever publish that memoir, I'll be first in line to buy it!
Feeling suddenly nostalgic, as John Lennon said, for "lovers and friends I still recall. Some are dead and some are living. In my life, I've loved them all."
Thank you for bumping this thread Joey. I always love re-reading your adventures on the WSS revival - - - I recall I gushed on to you about Hector Jaime Mercado.
I saw this revival but I don't remember anything about it. How is that other people have such perfect recall?
Another clip just surfaced of Debbie and the girls dancing America:
A much better version has been on You Tube since 2008
This thread made my day-so many amazing posters on this board and PJ has always been at the top of that list!
Oh, of course. That's why the background--which is NOT Oliver Smith's set!--looked so familiar. I didn't realize the "new" clip was just America number lifted from the same broadcast.
I still want to marry Hector Jaime Mercado.

Thank you SO much for posting that!
A loving bump, because Pal Joey’s stories are always worth reading again and again.
