I rushed Sunday's Matinee and was front row center
My friend rushed first preview Friday and was in a side orchestra partial, so I guess it depends on the day

I rushed Friday morning and was given the option for box or side orchestra. they recommended side box so I sat there. Great view!

What the Schoenfeld considers partial isn't partial at all. I sat in the rush seats for Chita's show when I was in college--the last seat in the row, all the way to the left--and didn't miss anything.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

It just depends on the production and their set design. Maybe the back wall of Chita's set was much loser than Bonnie And Clyde.

I also rushed on Sunday and ended up in E16. It was definitely partial view, as I missed some of the projections.

Two questions (sorry if the answers have already appeared elsewhere on this board):

1.) How much are the rush tickets?

2.) If I plan on rushing the matinee this Saturday and am able to get to the box office around 11, do I stand a good chance of getting a ticket? Based on what else I've read it seems like I'll be fine, but any other input is appreciated!

1.) $31.50.

2.) Unless something has dramatically changed since this weekend, 11 a.m. should be fine.

Any suggestions for time on Saturday?

on a separate note, has anyone heard anything about Lysistrata Jones rush or lotto?

Thanks!

bumping, any suggestions for Saturday besides 11 should be fine? I'm thinking of 8 or 9 is that way too early?

I've heard nothing about Lysistrata Jones rush.

I would say 8 is probably unnecessarily early but it's always good to err on the side of caution. 9 is more reasonable.

Got there around 9:30 -- the line wasn't too long ahead of me, so I hoped I was in good shape -- especially on a 2 show day. But they ran out really quickly... I was about 2 people away at that point - and lots of people behind me... so apparently the rush tickets are getting more popular!

Went a block over and got a ticket for "On a Clear Day" instead... will be fun to see a first preview, but really anxious to see B&C

Yeah, I got there at about 10:40 this morning and the guy said the rush seats were long gone. But since I wanted to see the show I decided to buy a ticket in the rear mezz for $66.50 -- a little pricey, but a fine view.

Does anyone know if they have rush for opening night? If so, how early would you recommend getting there?

Wondering if anybody has an idea how opening might affect rush. I want to rush tomorrow (Saturday) and thinking about 8:30 or so. Any ideas if that will work?

dwyermj, I was thinking about 8:30 as well for rush tomorrow. Since almost all the reviews have been mixed to negative, I doubt that opening night is going to make this a hot ticket.

I've tried for this twice.

A few weeks ago (around 11/10,) at 6pm on a weekday I was shut out, but told that some days they sell out at open, other days they have tickets up to the performance time.

This past Wednesday, I got there at 6pm and got two tickets in one of the boxes. We were the only 2 people in any of the boxes, and the usher moved us to the second row of the mezz at intermission.

I did the rush yesterday for the matinee (12/10)
Got there after losing out on Sister Act so it was about 10:40 ish and I got the VERY last rush ticket and was in the first box on house right. Partial view but missed VERY little except for action that takes place upstage to the very stage left and some of the action that takes place downstage all the way to the stage left also.

Evening tickets on Sat (12/10) were very popular. We arrived at 9:40 and there were already 25-30 people in line, with most wanting evening tickets. They went within minutes and many left when finding out evening tickets were gone. So we rushed again today (Sunday 12/11). We arrived at 10:30 and were fifth in line. By noon there were probably 30-40 people in line.

So it seems to be very busy now. Last week someone was handing out those cute "wanted" flyers and iasked about rush, he said i could probably get one in the afternoon. I finish work around 130 and was hopeing to get them on Thursday. But it's sounding like that's a no go this week. Blerg... i don't want to miss it but...
