It seems that many of the newbies have trouble with private messaging (not knowing they have PM's, etc...)
I'll try to explain it to the best of my ability.
In the top left hand corner of Broadwayworld.com, it says "Private messaging. It's it right above "Content" and next to "Who's online."
If someone has sent you a PM, it will say "1 New Message" or...2 or 3, however many you may have.
Private messaging is sending a private message to a specific poster. This way they don't post it on a thread where others can see it- just you.

Hello all – newbie here! Having been a moderator on other message boards, I know how redundant the “I'm New” threads can get, so I thought I'd pop in here and say hello instead. I figure it’s a good way to bump it for my fellow newbies also, since it’s got some good information.
I’ve been a theatre lover all my life and see as many shows as possible. My current favorite is Sweeney Todd. I moved from CA to NY this year, which makes feeding my obsession much easier. :)
Looking forward to chatting with people who share in my love!

This should be taught in colleges and universities. I agree completely with almost every word.
Pweeeasee sticky? I'm sick of having to search.
It's not stickied because there's a link to it above the actual message board, next to the link for message board, off topic board and student board.
Man, Aigoo's gonna have to put how to find the FAQ in the FAQ. *irony*

When people sign up they should have to read this and take a final exam before they're permitted to post.
Spelling and grammar will be included in the final grade.

There's only one issue of "was so-and-so ever in this show" and putting ibdb.com down. It doesn't tell you about national tours...

I was looking today for a tour database and couldn't find one. Hmph
Oh, now now basic internet skills here people.
Just google the performers name and the name of the touring show and 99% of the time the info will show up, then if it doesn't the only course of action left is clearly to...panic!

Can we shamelessly plug goodsearch.com because your searches can contribute to BC/EFA?
"47.How do I make a link?"
Why is there no answer to this? Anyone? Please?
