I would never personally censor someone (I even let my students write just about anything they want to), but I've been around this board long enough to know A)what isn't allowed by the mods and B)what tends to tick people off. Endless threads about Wicked or arguing with facts like what a Swing does -- that tends to get people's hackles up.
I don't know what a hackle is, but they have definitely been raised.
I don't think the FAQ's are there to keep people from voicing different opinions; but rather the things that *need* prevention -- without differing viewpoints, we wouldn't have much, would we? Obviously there are going to be limitations, within reason. But things like excessive threads on the same topic, and questions that *are* as implied, frequently asked -- I find nothing condescending about compiling them to make life easier.
"Well I hope that last post answers everyones FAQ, "When/Why Does Sidescroll Happen?"."
Is that in the FAQ now? If not they should add it. Maybe then people will realize why you shouldn't put multiple question marks or explanation points after a sentence.
I don't know if anyone said this yet... just noticed as I was looking though that in the member levels, a level is missing from 50-100 posts (the understudy level).
Okay, I've looked a couple of times for this, and I really can't find it - you have #47 listed as how to make a link - but I can't find the actual instructions. It seems to end at 46.
Help!
