"If BWW is going to remove your avatar because they feel it's inappropriate or whatever, or do they just remove it or do they contact you too?
If they don't, it seems to me that you should be alerted or told why it was removed."
Since your avatar is gone, it seems like you know the answer to these?
Right, which makes me wonder why they pick and choose. How do they decide what is indecent and what isn't. I have had a couple removed ( i assume they removed them, i was never informed)- yet others that show basically the same thing remain. Not only that, But there is one user who has had (And still does the last time i saw them post) an avatar for the longest that shows men in a shower and you can see their rears- which seems more inappropriate Erik Altemus in his Underwear. Just dose not make sense. Mods????
You should post half-naked selfies as your avatar, and then we can determine if it is the nudity or the identity of the people pictured.
i Changed my avatar to something a little more tame and fun- at least i think so.
It's not really necessary to do that all the time though.
Yes, you are slowly finding out if BWW is more ass-friendly or bulge-friendly.
I think it's pretty tame- but then my Erik Picture wasen't that out there either IMO.

Does anyone know why the interview, BACKSTAGE WITH RICHARD RIDGE- Best Pals and New PHANTOM Stars Norm Lewis and Sierra Boggess!
( https://www.broadwayworld.com/videoplay.php?colid=749197#.VBYZqpUg9Yd ) , will not play at all? I posted a thread about it, but figured this was the frequently asked questions feed so I would give it a shot on here too.
As answered: the problem is something WE can't do anything about. Contact BWW.

How do I quote a post?

"How do I quote a post?"
Like this.
How do I make a link active? Nothing I've tried has worked. Thanks!
ETA: Never mind, my sister gave me the information. You paste the link into the 'Optional Link' field and then put a title in the 'Link Title' field.
Now for my next question: Why wasn't that information in the original FAQ post?

It was kind of bittersweet to see the sorely missed Margo Channing. Miss you buddy.
#3 reads, "3. In addition to the above 'rule', try to use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar as much as possible. We can't help you unless you get your message across. Look! You can even edit your message after you post it, rather than posting twice again and apologizing for your mistake, etcetera, etcetera."
"twice again" is redundant.
If your meaning is to post a second time, perhaps it would be better to select either "twice", or "again" (but not both words).
If your meaning is to repeatedly post twice, perhaps a comma would help clarify, i.e.: "twice, again".
(It made me smile to see that example follow so closely after the suggestion to use "proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar"
Sometimes people do end up triple-posting...
Also, since the first post is older than half the cast of School of Rock at this point, I'm not sure OP is able to come back and edit it to your wishes.

...and another smile today!
PS: not really "my wishes" - just an observation that made me smile. The list is very helpful and smartly comprised!
Someone just messaged me asking how to paste a clickable link into a thread. My ad blocker won't let me reply to DMs, but to answer that, I'm not actually sure why some URLs automatically render as clickable and some don't — I only use this board in Chrome on a laptop, so maybe it's a mobile issue?
Regardless, if the link isn't clickable when you paste it in, I suppose you can go the long way and use the link button in the top row of options over the reply box, next to the alignment buttons.
What I’ve been doing(since I don’t get that top row with the edit options) I go into preview, then paste the link. That usually works for me and I get the edit options in the preview as well.

Thank you Lizzie. Used to be able to do the copy and paste route, but I’ll try this.
