There are 33 other people, as well.
Tony Award meet Natalie Toro; Natalie meet your Tony.
Seems like great casting to me. So pleased to see Jessica Rush replaced and happy to see Craig Bennett, Michael Hayward-Jones, Katherine McGrath, Les Minski, Nick Wyman, Kevin Greene, Tim Hartman, Walter O'Neil, and Rebecca Robbins all reprising their roles.
Wow three great male actor/singers!
I guess he made it out of jail.
Oh, DAME, I was waiting for someone to say something!
I hope to make it to an early preview as a birthday treat!
Love Lazar, but I was still hopeful that Gavin Creel just MIGHT squeeze in there as Darney, since he did play the part at least at one point.
Congrats to the cast!
^^ if it only weren't for Godspell. I do love Gavin.

would've loved to have seen Derek as Darnay, but oh well, great cast otherwise...
Tony sweep?
Well, this will be interesting.

I'm excited for Aaron Lazar!
"Tony sweep?"
Personally, I think Natalie Toro is an absolute shoo-in for a nomination if not the award itself. Past that I don't know. I haven't seen the new cast members in their roles and the awards can be so political that they MIGHT overlook Barbour. But I wouldn't be surprised if they got best book/set/new musical nods.

I think the title alone might keep some people away, but I'm interested to see how this all turns out.

My Family and I saw it in Florida and we didnt think we would like it but we loved it!!! I wanted to see it again and again. I love Aaron Lazar!!!!!! So excited!!
Rentbiy86 - Ever since I read this, I thought it would make a good show, but then again, this is coming from the guy that thinks Gatsby would be great as a musical if well done. I am a lit person, so I guess it jut the combo of my love for musical theater and my favorite lit.
God I LOVE when people make Tony predictions a year before the Tonys. They are usually WRONG WRONG WRONG. I'll never forget when people predicted Brooklyn would sweep the Tonys.
Brooklyn did not have Barbour and Dickens in its favor!
TONY SWEEP!

....or Aaron Lazar and Greg Edelman!!!! Both great!
Ahh, I'm really glad they kept Natalie Toro! Especially after those rumors that they were recasting Madame Defarge.
Not to point out the Pink Elephant in the room.... But... how does one market this? Will the PRESS give JB a pass?

Really excited about the casting. Loved Natalie Toro in her role and am glad the rumors she was not involved can be dispelled.
Eris I know you miss Derek, but he is making more money in Grease than he would have made in Tale so you can be somewhat happy.
I REALLY can't wait to see this in September!
" I'll never forget when people predicted Brooklyn would sweep the Tonys. "
Had those people actually seen Brooklyn already though? I think there's a difference; that is if Eris0303 did see the Saratoga production. And besides, she didn't claim it would get nominated for anything except Natalie Toro's role. She merely stated that she "wouldn't be surprised" if it were nominated for other major awards. There's nothing wrong with that, it's a perfectly safe "prediction" to make without taking all other eligible shows into account first.

I dont know about the Tonys but it will be a winner with the people. It is the kind of show that reaches out and touches you!
