My favorite remains On The Twentieth Century with it's mirrored gatefold cover. The inside was delicious too.
It is not specifically Broadway, but the LP album cover for the London FOLLIES is strikingly handsome. Sorry I can't provide a photo of the Art Deco design in blue and silver.
In 1979 I bought a framed beach towel with the on the Twentieth Century album cover on it at the old May Company on Wilshire Blvd and dragged it home to San Francisco with me, and then from apartment to apartment over the years. Yes, it's a great design.
God, that's a gorgeous cover. And a great logo!
The London 'Follies'.
Not a great photo but you'll get the idea... pretty stunning in your hand.
The production had a different cover for the CD release later.

I love the On the Twentieth Century album cover. I bought it one year at the Flea Market before I was familiar with the score, simply because it's so striking.

I went off to college with an (unframed) lobby card of "Twentieth Century." It got destroyed in some dorm room hi-jinks. I am still sad. Luckily I had that Follies poster matted and framed- god it's gorgeous!
I miss shows with good logos... sigh.. those were the 80s'
While we are on a Hilary Knight kick... Not an album cover, but a beautiful logo, nonetheless.
Why was Alexis Smith billed before Dorothy Collins? Any Particular reason?
The Do Re Mi LP cover was kind of cool, with its cut-out cover.
