You can find a lot of these LPs in stores like Housing Works around the city for the absurd price of a dollar or two. I picked up Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Candide, The Fantasticks, Cabaret, and the '76 revival of Threepenny Opera at the Housing Works near me.
It looks like the first editions of EVITA had a mirrored finish.
morosco, I think that might just be the camera/flash in the case of the London one. I have the first edition London LP of EVITA and it's most definitely not mirrored! :)

Yet another beautiful thread...thank you!
I love the NANETTE logo...and the IRENE one as well. Both are by Hilary Knight who also did 70, GIRLS 70, SUGAR BABIES and the Papermill FOLLIES.
I really miss all the packaging that came with vinyl, especially when they were loaded with colour photos like the NO, NO, NANETTE album. Who remembers the magic trick that came with THE MAGIC SHOW album?
In addition to those already posted here, I've added five (out of several) favoes of mine, including two more by Hilary Knight, such as this one.
and one more by Hilary Knight! I wanted to include A NEW BRAIN but I don't think it was ever an LP. I believe we had completely crossed over to CD by then.
and one final favorite from the early '70s.
I didn't realise that CHICAGO was a Hilary Knight logo. Egghumor you have good taste!

It's Tony Walton, not Knight... (or was that a joke lol)
i just LOVE the "No, No, Nanette" cover.
I've always found these very striking (mutiple posts):
Sorry if I confused anyone. I never meant to imply that the CHICAGO design was by Hilary Knight. Eric's right. Thanks!
Sending best wishes and positive energy to the amazing people of New York City! Wishing everyone safety, a warm bed, and something good to eat.
After just watching the amazing video that accompanies Dolores Gray's reading of "The Ladies Who Lunch," I just had to post this fave as well. How could anyone NOT want to listen to this record with a cover like that?!?!?
