Posted: 9/13/21 at 3:27pmI saw it once and it was fun/just fine, but the vitriol is so outsized. I’d consider seeing its return, cast-dependent.

Posted: 9/13/21 at 3:30pmI have a feeling it's going to be a huge hit. I'm going to make a trip to go see it more than once, and I'm on the west coast.

Congrats to you! Some people will admit they were wrong but the majority of people on this thread that were negative never will. It's a pattern with them over the years.
Very good call!

Not going to lie, I'm not happy to be one of last people on this thread to say it wouldn't happen before the announcement. It will be memorialized now haha. But congrats, Lunlaaaaaaaaa you were right!

Lunalaaaaaaaa, you kept a really good attitude throughout this whole thread despite so many people hating on the show and giving you sarcastic answers to an honest question. Good on you. Glad you got the news you'd been waiting for.

Thank you so much!!! I hope you have the chance to see the show as well! We definitely still have to talk about who is going to fill what role in the meantime before it arrives in the Spring.

You know, I thought the show was kind of a dumb joke so I was not going to see it. But, my mind has really changed in the past year or so. So, I have decided I will be seeing it this time around. I sure hope Alex Brightman is still interested in the part.

I'm definitely seeing Beetlejuice too! I really hope Alex Brightman comes back also!! He brings so much life to the role and his stagedoor presence seemed so warm. But I wonder about Rob McClure? Will he still be doing Mrs. Doubtfire during this time? Which makes me wonder about the Jonas Brother rumor and if the JoBro will be filling the role of Adam.

Oh, Rob McClure def won't be coming back unless Doubtfire closes before Spring. I don't know anything about it, but it seems to be selling pretty well so far. Obviously, he won't be leaving a starring role for a supporting one. The role of Adam seems like it could cast many, many type of men. A JoBro would be hilarious but I'm not paying huge prices to see people that can't really sing all that well ![]()

Is there a reason David Josefsberg wouldn't come back?

There's a lot of negative folks today who I assume are having crow for dinner.
This is great news, though, for Beetlejuice's cast and creatives!

For sure! I know people in real life that simply cannot admit they are wrong about anything, even if it's the most obvious thing in the world. So wild to see it here but not surprised. It's like, you're wrong, admit it and move on. Most of them are staying quiet but the few that have spoken out are basically pulling a Trump with the "I did nothing wrong!!!!!" card.

Yes because no one can ever have a strong stance on something and always have to admit they’re wrong or they’re…what? Stupid? An idiot? No. They don’t owe anyone anything. So the people who dwell on their comments should be the ones “eating crow”. :)
But yes, absolutely congratulations to people involved since it’s coming back!!

I believe we're referring to the ones who were rude about it. That were saying we'd be here in 2035 still talking about it, to check the other 293049 threads about it not coming back, etc.
So no, they don't owe anyone anything. But to be so negative *and* so wrong. Funny.
