I believe they’re holding auditions to fulfill a requirement set by Equity? But now that I think about it: were auditions held for the Waitress return engagement? I’m pretty sure most of their returning cast were just given offers.
It wouldn’t surprise me if offers were made to as many of the Beetlejuice cast members that were in the show before the shut down.

I read the Playbill job pages religiously, and I don’t think I ever saw any posts on Playbill for Waitress auditions. Wait-no…maybe I did. I can’t remember. But maybe they didn’t post for it because they had a ton of original cast and loved cast members from Broadway and the tour come back, so they didn’t really need to recruit new people? I’m not sure though.
It's all just an Equity thing. The show is probably fully cast with the cast that closed it the first time around.
It's def open-ended. Who knows who is coming back.
I'm still confused that Rob McClure travels in from Philly EVERY day to perform?!

I thought Rob lived in New Jersey?
Surely he could stay in an Air BnB at some point.

I can’t copy the link because of the settings on the post but I’m assuming Presley Ryan and Alex Brightman are returning. Presley made a post on TikTok about the duo being back together

I'm sure he'd have his choice of many overnight accommodations, if he wanted. Castmates willing/able to put him up, occasionally, hotels - he is likely able to snooze a tad on the ride and still be able to see his family (assuming he has one) on most mornings.

I get it but a 2 hour commute to and from the city every day sounds awful. Maybe the train is faster? I mean he’s the lead in a big musical so maybe they put him up? But still crazy.
