I sure hope you've never told anyone you enjoyed their cooking or had a nice time when in fact, you did not. Cause that would make you as badas Trump. Whether people will be able to afford healthcare... it matters. Whether someone made up or embellished a story about Bernadette Peters rehearsing? eh, not so much."

I imagine so.  qolbinau; when are you going?  I know you are a big fan of hers and I am thrilled for you.  I now have to wait 3 weeks.

After reading the OP, it made me wishful that we might see a new DOLLY cast recording with Peters especially since I wasn't that fond of Midler's performance on disc.It sure would be great if they repeated what they did with Brooke Shields when she replaced Tuesday's DOLLY in WONDERFUL TOWN which featured Shields along with the new cast replacements. I'd even settle for a mini disc release like they did with a number of actresses who played Norma Desmond. Or Nick Jonas in HOW TO SUCCEED.... and the list goes on. .

devonian.t. I agree with you.  Not sure why the others are stating something different.  I hope that is just a bad angle.  If it isn't, she has made some questionable choices....and I will leave at that.

So here is an example of a candid shot from Follies (Curtain call). In qolbinau's eyes, her face is scrunching/looking similar to the Dolly shot. I do concede it's a facial expression/angle that wouldn't be typically captured and printed though:
