Bess Wohl’s “Small Mouth Sounds” Broadwaybound? — Page 5

That's interesting, and does appear to be for TodayTix only.

"Know before you go

The first 100 people to purchase tickets to Downstate will receive a $150 promotional code for Small Mouth Sounds, starring Julia Roberts, Paul Rudd. They will be notified by email on Friday 9/11 and receive a promo code before on sale late October."

So you don't get the code automatically like the Telecharge promotion; you only find out Friday if you were one of the first 100. It's $150 off whatever the prices are when they go on sale in late October (but may be on seats other than the select ones the main promo is offering?)

The TodayTix deal could definitely be a better one if you aren't looking for prime seats. I have to believe there will still be tickets under $400 when the regular sale opens in October. A $150 discount off any seat in the theater could really pay off and offer a better price than the $250 in the other deal. TT's deal doesn't specify if there's a minimum price the discount can be used on. (It also doesn't say if there's a minimum price you have to spend on Downstate.) At the same time it's a risk because of the 100 person limit.

Good luck!

Can anyone confirm - is it 10am or noon? Yesterday, I swore everything said 10.

now noon??

Just tried the direct link: https://www.telecharge.com/downstate-Tickets

And there's a holding page with the following. I hadn't seen the part about the Small Mouth Sounds tickets only being for non-Saturday dates.

The event will begin at: 11:55 AM

The Downstate sale begins on September 10, 2026. When the sale begins, you will be assigned a random place in line (alongside everyone else who also arrives before the sale begins).

Buy Up to 4 Tickets to DOWNSTATE for a Performance through November 22, 2026, Get Access to Buy the Same Number of Tickets to SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS for $250 Each While Supplies Last
Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Bess Wohl returns to Broadway with her play SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS starring Martin Freeman, Greta Lee, Sarah Paulson, Isaac Powell, Julia Roberts, and Paul Rudd, directed by Joe Mantello.

HOW IT WORKS: By purchasing 1 to 4 tickets to a performance of Downstate scheduled through November 22, 2026, you will receive a code redeemable to purchase an equivalent number of tickets to Small Mouth Sounds for $250 per ticket. The Small Mouth Sounds ticket offer is valid for non-Saturday performances from February 19, 2027, through June 17, 2027, and is subject to availability and blackout dates. Your code will come in an email from Telecharge. If you have not received your code 4 hours after your Downstate purchase, please contact Telecharge. This offer is only available on Telecharge. You must complete your Small Mouth Sounds purchase by 11:59pm on September 24, 2026. You will not be able to use this offer if you return or charge back your Downstate tickets. Offer may be revoked or modified at any time without notice.

Downstate was easy! Had it purchased before noon. And a front row seat at $150 ain't half bad. Now to wait for the other code...

I don't even think the TT situation is a deal, either.

I didn't realize every single seat in the theater for DOWNSTATE would be priced the same...

I'm holding off.

Yeah, neither of these “offers” are worth it to me.

The fact that I was able to get suck great seats for Downstate is giving me hoping for the Small Mouth tickets.. now I just hope it doesn’t take all day to get a code.

It should have been that you could buy both shows together, immediately.
