...what is your favorite?
I would have to say (since I am a big fan of fosse)

Steam Heat- I like the choreography. Plain and simple.

Cell Block Tango
Me And My Baby
We Both Reached For The Gun
Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag
Big Spender (Fosse)

WAY too many to list.

Wedding/Bottle Dance - Fiddler on the Roof
Crapshooter's Ballet - Guys and Dolls

I love Steam Heat and All That Jazz... and as for the more "modern" Broadway, the choreography to "You Can't Stop the Beat" is rather impressive.

"You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray
The finale from "42nd Street"
You Can't Stop the Beat... just looks SO good with the whole cast. the energy level is so high!
Another vote for "You Can't Stop the Beat"
"Oklahoma" in DRS
Bottle dance from Fiddler
I give my vote to 'You Can't Stop the Beat'. It's so powerful and amazing when you see the whole cast dancing their asses off.
Before I ever saw the show, I told my friend Candice (Dynamite) that I loved YCSTB on the cast recording. She told me "Wait until you see it live!"
Boy, was she right!
Would you consider a ballet as a dance number? Natalia Makarova and Lara Teeter doing George Ballanchine's original choreography to Richard Rodgers' "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" from On Your Toes.
