Best souvenir programs

Posted: 11/12/03 at 4:24pmI'm a collector of Broadway souvenir programs and am amazed how they have changed over the years. I recently added "Urinetown" and "Barnum" (the program published after it won its Tonys) to my collection and love their designs. One of my favorite programs is for "On the Twentieth Century," not because it's my favorite musical, but because of the way it uses the logo throughout the program. What do you consider some of the best souvenir programs in the last, say, 30 years?

The Gypsy souvenir book is especially lovely.

I also like Chicago's- again, it may have changed- but it showed pics of companies from all over, and a lot of different people playing each role.
