i just think that it's sick that we are arguing over three children in a show. We have to remember that they're just kids... they're all different and they all have their own different strengths. comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges because they each have a different variation of the show, tailer made to fit their needs. So basically, i don't really think they (the three boys) compare each other and i don't think it's fair that we do too...
not sure if that made sense

It upsets and offends me to read messages on this forum about young, extremely. talented perfomrers. being clsely associated with a stage school i understand (as many knowledgable people on here seem to) the ammount of hard work that goes into any show, not to mention one in the west end and of this calibre. i know we are trying to ignore this but i feel that the perpetrator should hear from a child perfomrer how hard these shows are as he obviously has no clue, nor any respect. Shows are such hard work and all of the children in this show from ballet girls to billys are incredible. and no im no robot- im not a regular poster on this board but uv hit a nerve here and i sincerely hope you realise. Sorry to ramble Thankyou everyone else for all the fantastic posstive commments. many Thanks Charlotte x
To the boys who will audition for Billy and Michael tomorrow! Show those casting people what you've got and shock and impress them with your skills and talents!!!
And most of all - have fun!

I have been reading this board since i saw the show back in september. I saw it on a saterday evening and geogre maguire was playing billy. I thought he was amazing. I hate seeing people be horrible to george and james because what i saw was amazing, it totally took my breath away. I understand that people have favourites(I don't because I have only seen George) but don't be nasty to the others. They have worked just as hard as Liam and don't desirve to be put down.
welcome to the boards! you'll find a lot more than just Billy Elliot talk here, and, hell, who knows: maybe you'll become a fan of other musicals!
lol!
welcome!

I don't think LM deserves what critisism he's been getting, as mostly MF is the problem now. LM has been providing some info as to the status of the OCR and actors in the show--thanks.
ah, i've got no problems with LM... his posts are mainly Liam centric but he doesn't insult anyone else.
MF... eh....

since the thread has reached 50 page we Billy Elliot fans need a name. Rent fans have Rentheads, wicked fans have ozians (or something like that) piazza fans have enLIGHTenists (or something like that)
so.. here is what i propose. send me an PM with your suggestion for the Billy Elliot fan Fan name and when i've got a fair amount (say the deadline is ONE WEEK) i'll post them all and then we'll vote!

Don't I just know it considering the amount of sileage from him that has come in my direction. Nice piece of detective work and monitoring Billy Fan 2. I see the price of the show programme has now gone up to £5 (inflation?) and they still can't get it right. The write up about Joey Philips (Michael) is the write up about Leon!! So poor Joey's credits do not get a mention. As it is important that every performer is valued and their past achievements recognised I suggest that this print run is pulped as soon as possible or at least an insert correcting this misinformation. As a former proof reader I suggest also more diligence by the management staff to check for these glaring errors. I know it is important also to be up to date but I could not help feeling sorry that all the pictures of James have been removed from the centrefold collage. They might have left one to recognise his dynamic contribution to the success of this show.
Well, that's a revealing.... What kind of person is he (LM aka MF) anyway? I thought there's a link in this site to report abuse, but I haven't use it yet
How did you know that the price of the programme is going up? Few days ago (wednesday), when I watched Liam for the first time, it was still £4

Anyone know if the video for electricity waas ever released. I know you can watch it on elton johns website, but somehow thats not quite the same as being in possession of it.
Also i support the campaign which i have just started for MF to get a life and get over liam. I would be very glad if others would join my Campaign!
No new pictures of George and Liam just inserts of Leon and Joey where James and Ashley were in the collage plus a full page picture of the final moment of the encore dance with Leon and Joey lifted aloft. Otherwise the cover is the same and most of the rest of the programme the same except for Leon replacing James with his credits in the Billy section and Joey replacing Ashley in the Michael section along with the error referred to earlier. I am sorry that an opportunity was missed to update Liam's picture in the Billy section as the current photo of him must have been taken when he was eleven and bears little resemblance as he has matured and changed accordingly. Personally I think the £1 increase in the programme cost is a bit of a rip off as the show must be well in profit given its continual sell out performances.
I would like to clarify something here - I have read the 'LM' posts on the other site and they are most definately not me. Do not get that person mixed up with me - whatever I have said in the past on this board, I am not abusive in the language that I use as is this other 'LM' on the other site.
