Hopefully his 'vintage'/old Playbills range isn't limited to early 90's Playbills. Some kids on here think the 1994 TOMMY Playbill is vintage. Oy!
By the time I was about 12, my vintage Playbill collection included the following original Broadway casts of:
PAL JOEY
AUNTIE MAME
GYPSY
BYE BYE BIRDIE
I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE
FUNNY GIRL (pre-Broadway, Broadway & 1st Nat'l Tour!)
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (even the Bette Midler one from 1966!)
THE PAJAMA GAME
RED HEAD
SWEET CHARITY (even the Chita Rivera 1st Nat'l Tour)
SUBWAYS ARE FOR SLEEPING
COMPANY
APPLAUSE
ANYONE CAN WHISTLE
Then there are those hundreds from the 70's and on. Oy!
Hopefully this kid doesn't just limit himself to the last 20 years.

I have a fairly nice collection. I know a bunch of younger kids get a lot inherited from their parents or other family members. Either that or they purchase them on ebay.
I'll be home when the morning comes.

plus, he called them plays. they're musicals, that just gets on my nerves for some reason!

Surprisingly, from what I have seen, even actors in showbusiness call musicals, plays...so I guess it's just something we have to live with.

I probably have close to 400 which I'm finally organizing chronologically using comic book holders for the Playbill and the stub
Had finally organizing all my Yankee yearbooks and playoff programs so this was next on my agenda.

So, wexy...what's going to happen to all that when you pass away?
I have over 1,000 Playbills, dating from as far back as the late 1930's (yup...I once was THAT obsessive), and I haven't looked at all those Playbills in about 5 years.
I'm asking myself now...why the fu*k did I collect those? Just to keep them in storage? To say I had then? I'm thinking of just taking those boxes to the dumpster and setting them free.
One thing you learn as you get older is things like that are pointless. They're great for a short while, then they become extra clutter.

He bothered me, but at least his collection was of something worthwhile, and not one of those commercials with a girl who collects plastic bugs.

There is another one where a kid collects t-shirts. He wears one from Spamalot and says "its a cool show." Much like the kid who collects Playbills (he also highlighted Spamalot). I thought it was a odd coincidence.
I didnt see Avenue Q in his collection

BrodyFossee123,
Put them up for grabs on eBay. I wouldn't just throw them out.

I saw that awhile ago, too. I thought it was kind of cool that they had someone on that collected them, instead of things like bangles and as someone else said, plastic bugs.
