Change that to a catty sixteen year old high school girl and I will agree with you.

Again...I'll say how I can't believe that you all have the energy to keep this up! I'm following this today because I have the day off...but I'm worn out just reading Elixer's post where he answers all the accusations! I often wonder if some posters have multiple identities. Is that possible? Whatever happened to TooDarnHot?

I think this post was funny.

MiracleElixir,
With every post you make, you just prove that you are a petty, little person.
Congratulations.

"But in my (mild) defense, I didn't call them out or specifically cite who they were."

Thanks for the laughs, MiracleElixir.

I don't know.
I think posted a vague text from an anonymous friend is sort of obnoxious. And I thought this thread was kinda funny. I wouldn't have done it. But. It made me smile more than it made me want to vomit.

I really don't see the big deal. I clicked on the La Cage review thread to READ reviews... I don't get it. Like someone else said, what's the difference between a text and any of the reviews read on this site?
Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, RENT, Mamma Mia!, Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde, Evita (with Julia Murney), Hairspray (with Paul Vogt), Peter and the Starcatchers (with Christian Borle), Lion King, Altar Boyz, Legally Blonde (with Lauren Zackrin).

One results in MiracleElixir's making a fool out of himself (and amusing us), while the other does not; therefore, the former is vastly superior to the latter.

I do so enjoy this thread! A lame attempt at humor at another's expense that backfired big time. Like stomping out the very paper bag of burning poop you put on someone else's doorstep.

Yeah, I still don't get how you all (or most at least) not finding my mockery of someone funny makes it "a failure" or "blowing up in my face." So I was mean to someone (albeit -- AGAIN -- without citing who they were, so it's kind of remarkable the uproar that evolved), and you all are calling me insulting names back. "Not funny," "pathetic," "petty," whatever. You folks are mad, I get it. Unpopular sure, but I don't understand the accusations of this blowing up in my face, or SNAFU's particularly eloquent metaphor.
I was responding/replying/"defending," as it were because it was people directly responding to something I wrote and attacking me/it, so it felt appropriate to acknowledge the comments. I saw all the comments afterwards throughout the day, I just stopped because the first few seemed like enough, and it was clear people just wanted to s**t-talk and me responding was pointless.
TheatreDiva, you're a delight as usual.
But you're welcome for the laughs, aspiringactress. Re-reading my comment(s), I guess me vaguely-contradicting-myself-but-not-really is mildly amusing, but I'm surprised you find it laugh-out-loud. That said, if this thread has proven anything, it's that opinions are like a**holes, everyone's got 'em -- so power to you.
I realize I've tried to write an actual response with full sentences and such (as I did before), so that's probably a mistake. So, continue with the names if you wish, I'm fine with them, and I won't respond anymore (I can see a ton of you want this thread to die anyway).
Bye now. You are fabulous creatures, each and every one.

Your lack of self-sight would be pitiable if you were less nasty. Oh well. I wish you the best in your future endeavors.
And I hope that when you come back to BroadwayWorld under yet another screen name, you will have learned a little about yourself.
