This is a marvelous performer. Bring him back! Oh...and Franc Luz too!
*bump*...you bastards
I'm actually listening to him right now...
"She has her eyes...She has my Lily's hazel eyes..."
R.W. is life.
I was listening to Gregg Edleman's 'Mollasess to Rum' today.
And then I began thinking of how Robert Westenberg has gotten such little B'way work recently.
Then this thread pops up.
BRING HIM BACK!
He has such a glorious voice and one of the rare baritone men on Broadway. Most nowadays are tenors. Very few baritone/basses with the exceptions being Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael McElroy, Harvey Fierstein
Didn't he take a job running a theater outside NY?
Maybe he wanted to do other things.
But I don't want him to! So that settles that.
Gregg Edelman is most definetely a baritone, Sum. Add him to the list.
We've heard Edelman go easily into tenor range though. His vocal quality is pure baritone but the guy's got range.
"I wash my face, then drink beer, then I weep. Say a prayer and induce insincere self-abuse, till I'm fast asleep"- In Trousers
back, back!
I listened to Gregg Eldman's live in Wonderful Town and was not impressed a lot. I sat in the first row. It is painful to listen someone's real voice without amplifier.
sorry, but he is not Westenberg.
Seeing Edelman in 1776 at the Criterion Center was one of the greatest joys I've known in the theatre.
And intimate house, a powerhouse performance and a moment in theatre that still gives me goosebumps.
oh I like this thread
What about Danielle Ferland and Ben Wright???
Ben Wright has left the business.
Danielle Ferland was in FROG AND TOAD last year.
bump
Because this thread didn't amount to enough!
