Broadway Actors and Myspace...

I found Michael Arden's myspace, but sadly he hasn't been on it since the spring.

I also found Cheyenne..

but I'm not sure if that's actually done by Cheyenne himself, or if his fangirls run it. So I'm apprehensive to send him a personal message on there.

So do you know of any other Bway actors who actually run their own Myspace, and keep in contact with fans on there?

Okay, for some of them, you can obviously tell it's not really them. For instance, I looked up Shoshana Bean, and it says her age is 25 and she's Christian--she is neither of those two.

Can anyone provide some links and discuss the validity of these profiles? I'd be really pissed if I add Idina Menzel and behind the screen there's some fifteen year old thinking she f*cking rocks because people think she's Idina Menzel.

I doubt it is Idina because:

*The biography reads like a 15 year old girl wrote it for a RPG

*The only photos there are offical publicity ones - actors and performers on MySpace normally put personal ones up

*Complete lack of personal info (I doubt Idina is 0'0" feet high)

*Completely Wicked related. I doubt somebody with as big a resumé as Idina would just have Wicked stuff in her profile.

*Profile belongs to a bunch of teeneybopper whoring communities - definately not the kind the real Idina would join.

*I doubt the real Idina would allow that hugh advertisement for Jenna Jameson in her comment section

Actually I am dubious about that being the real Cheyanne either. Since 'his' profile fulls into a couple of the categories I listed above as well.

There's also a lot of fake profiles on Friendster. Someone popular in the Broadway community pmed me on Friendster once and then befriended me. I thought he was fake for a bit until sources told me otherwise.

On the same account, I've been pmed by some fake profiles as well. Most of the time they're easy to detect, other times you're not so sure.
