Don't really like: CHENO(admittedly good voice, but can't act and seems uber-phony), Mandy Patinkin (oversings-and is a parody of himself) , Colm Wilkenson (oversings-chews his words), Michael Crawford (too in love with his own voice), Marin Mazzie (sorry, I find her painfully bland and vanilla in just about everything)
Love: Alice Ripley (I even love her voice, though I know some people don't-and her acting is unparalled), Donna Murphy, Adam Pascal, Alan Cumming
“I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.”

Can't Stand: LEA MICHELLE! HATE HER WITH A PASSION. She was good in spring awakening - not considering the fact that she was working on it since she was 14 (I saw Eryn Murman play wendla in san jose, phenomenal) Let's face it, the only reason lea had a life after spring awakening is because of it's amazing score, and because she is a belter, which is a high demand in contemporary MT.
Idina menzel, she was great in wicked. though, is it just me or does it sound like she has alot of vocal damage? Elphaba being such a vocally demanding role and all. I heard a rumor she smokes cigarettes.
Katherine Mcfeet. SERIOUSLY! HOW HOW HOW IS SHE A MAIN CHARACTER IN SMASH?! I live in a small town and I know teenagers that have a better vocal technique than her.
Love: Matt Cavenaugh for his unearthly range, and richness.
Sutton Foster, although overrated, you can't say she's not an amazing performer.
How can people not like Mandy Patinkin? I don't get it.
Loves: Cheno, Mandy, Bernadette, Patti, Len Cariou, Angela Lansbury, Cris Groenendaal, Ken Jennings, Joanna Gleason, Edmund Lyndeck and Robert Westenberg.
Despise: Sutton, Adam Wylie, Alexander Gemignani, Kerry O'Malley, Catherine Zeta Jones, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison
Don't particularly like: Bernadette Peters, and while I think Sutton Foster is incredibly talented and has a great stage presence, her performances are becoming routine. Seeing her in a show is just seeing Sutton in a wig, not her playing the character IMO.
