Broadway Bares celebrates 30 years of baring it all with Broadway Bares: X, a one-night-only extravaganza of provocative new production numbers inspired by the show’s first three decades of iconic themes.
Broadway Bares‘ audiences have seen delectable, diverse dancers take road trips across the US and around the world, play doctor and diner cook, personify mythic creatures and artful masterpieces and reimagine fairy tales and superheroes.
Two scintillating shows at 9:30 pm and midnight will feature full-out production numbers with more than 150 tantalizing dancers. This year’s special guests include Ariana DeBose, Nathan Lee Graham, Ramin Karimloo, Lesli Margherita, Bonnie Milligan, Maulik Pancholy, Christopher Sieber, Jason Tam and, from Broadway’s POTUS, Julianne Hough, Suzy Nakamura and Julie White. The queens from Broadway’s Six will perform the evening’s electric finale.
Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Michael R. Jackson also will make a special appearance at both performances with Jerry Mitchell, the Tony-winning creator and executive producer of Broadway Bares, to accept a $200,000 check from presenting sponsor MAC Viva Glam and to award the top Stripathon fundraiser awards.
