Umm..the purpose of my question was to see if anyone knew of cast members...not to be some catty fight about who knows more gossip? Then again, I guess that's the whole point of message boards like this..catty fights about gossip.

If it wasn't officially announced, all you're are going to get is hearsay. You should have realized that.

OY people play nice. Tomorrows announcement won't necessarily prove who knows more, did you think of that? It could be entirely possible that someone from Full House did make it to the final cut and did beat out Wishing's friend at an audition but that doesnt guarantee their inclusion in a cast list tomorrow. Getting into a Broadway show doesnt end at being liked at an audition and offered a role, its a business, people have to be free at the right time and for the right price.

i know from a very reliable source that no person from "Full House" ever showed up to any audition or was even contacted regarding this show. Wishing is just wrong. I tried to playfully steer Wishing to stop talking out of his (or her) ass, but he (or she) wouldn't shut up about it. So there it is. I promise you.... NO ONE from Full House is going to be or was ever going to be OR EVER AUDITIONED for this show.

The person who told me wouldn't just make it up and I did stop talking about it, your first post made me give a response. Also, other people have said they seen pictures of John Stamos tied to people from the show.

no you didn't stop talking about. you kept on saying how sure you were about this. The fact is, the person who told you this info is wrong... period. I'm not trying to be mean. Maybe he was confused... Maybe he heard something about full house in the waiting room... I don't know. But I promise you, you and your actor buddy are just plain wrong, and the more you stand behind this hearsay, the more you are going to look like a jackass tomorrow. Again, I'm not trying to be mean. It's just annoying to see hearsay defended as fact. It's unnecessary.

Snarky...do you work for the Casting Director, the Producers, or anyone else involved with the production? Were you personally at every single audition for Rock of Ages, submission or not?

If not...then what is the difference between what "Wishing" is saying and you. You're both basing your opinions on hear-say which is exactly what the original post was about(I know, because I started this thread). It may not be mean for you to say all of these things to "Wishing" but it is certainly rude. I'll even say that you are probably right about your Full House prediction...I doubted it as well....but to dwell so much on how "Wishing" and his buddy are "stupid" for believing something makes you sound very petty. You sound like the kid who ruined Christmas for all the other children by telling them Santa doesn't exist. Just because you're not wrong, does not make you right.

I am sitting right next to someone who in fact was a part of that process and she is telling me as i type this that no one in Full house is in this show or ever auditioned for it. I was not trying to be mean. I'm not trying to ruin christmas. I am sorry if that is what it progressed to. I really have no interest in starting fights... my messages started out playful. And I don't believe called anyone "stupid" (ny director put quotes around that word so I want to make it clear that your attribution is incorrect). I really am not dwelling on this. I was just trying to get the correct info out there... that is what I thought these things were for. If not, then... HEY EVERYBODY, PATTI LAPONE IS STARING IN A REVIVAL OF "OH CALCUTTA!" There you go! Enjoy!

And Santa is not real.

Okay...so what is the difference between what your friend sitting beside you and Wishing's friend? We don't know if you're telling the truth or not. If you could back up your opinion with something real, rather than a friend, then I don't think I'd be as concerned with you. It's the fact that your both relying on outside resources without naming them and you, for some reason, think it's okay to belittle someone else for the same thing you're doing. Don't you think it's a little hypocritical?

Because the friend sitting beside me is involved in the production and Wishing's friend isn't. How is that not clear to you? And I am not mentioning her name because she doesn't want me to. I am pretty sure your mommy didn't name you "nydirector2" so I see no evidence that one has to give real names to post information on here. Frankly, don't believe me. It makes no difference to me. It will be announced tomorrow and you and Wishing can hug it out over coffee. I am exhausted trying to give correct information.

You really don't understand Snarky do you. It's not that you're right....I think you are. It's the fact you are so hard on someone for being dead wrong when you have no real proof saying they're wrong. Let's go back to my example earlier: how can you prove Santa doesn't exist? You can't. It's a lot easier to prove something does exist than if it doesn't. That's why to call someone else out is so hypocritical when you do not have the proof to back it up. Like I said...just because you're not wrong, does not mean you're right.

I'm pretty sure that Snarky is just calling Wishing out on info that Snarky knows to be false. Wishing may indeed have been told what he is claiming...but that doesn't make it true.

Snarky is just trying to get the truth as he knows it out there. I don't think he was rude at all. I, personally, cannot stand rumors stated as fact.

no need to call Snarky out on his posts...he/she did no harm.

NY director, i don't think YOU understand. You are operating under the assumption (based on your Santa analogy) that Wishing and I are both equipped with the same level of information... or lack there of. That is not the case. I was not beating up on poor ol' Wishing (far less than The Charleston and you seem to have no problem with him) . I am simply saying that I have first hand information from someone INTIMATELY involved in the production. Wishing is telling you that her friend auditioned for the show and didn't get it. These are totally different sources... one who knows who auditioned and one who doesn't. That is it. And it is completely ridiculous to say that I am being hypocritical because I won't plaster my friend's name on an internet message board. are you serious? Why would I do that?
