Hey All,
This will be my first time going to the Broadway Flea Market so I just had a quick question. I plan on going with my sister and we both want to do the Photo Booth. I was just curious if say we both wanted to take a picture with say Jonathan Groff. Could we pay 20 dollars you think and both of us take a picture with him at the same time? Or will we both have to take them separate? Its not a big deal either way I was just curious.
Here's to hoping it doesn't rain!
According to ATC, it's been moved indoors to Roseland Ballroom.

Main headline on Broadwayworld is that the entire Flea Market has moved into the Roseland, but I can't seem to pull up the article. There BC/EFA site though does not list any change...
I was just going to say the press release says I'm not authorized to view it. Maybe I shouldn't go because of that. LOL! J/K

Ha! It tells me I reached the page in error.
Yeah, I can see the headline but I can't read the article!
I'm glad they moved it instead of postponing it, and it'll be better than walking around in the rain.
this is perfect!
if it was going to be rained out I wouldve been so pissed because I made sure I took off of work lol

It's finally all updated on their site now. The only bad thing is since it's inside, there's probably going to be no early browsing. But at least we'll be dry.

Meh. I'm not a fan of changing the location. I think one of the best parts of the flea market is being in the alley, rain or shine.

I'm willing to bet that the doors will not open before 10 am, and I am hoping it is not a mob scene of people waiting out in the rain rushing to get into Roseland. Of course if it is...I apologize to anyone in advance that I knock down.

I wonder what this'll mean for foot traffic.

It usually costs $10 for a picture, with the exception of John Stamos and any other special photo-opts they do (like 2 or more people). It's $10 per PICTURE. So you each can either can a picture by yourself for $10 each or a picture together with him for $10.

I am glad they changed this. But I'm worried about how it's going to work since they've never done this.
The point to me of the flea market is not people storming the door at 10:00 and having to run and race people to the tables. I'm worried that's what's going to happen.
Oh well, at least it's happening.
Just because it's been moved to a more concentrated space doesn't mean it's automatically goinge to turn into a death match for every little item. At least I hope not. Getting elbowed in the face while searching for Playbills last year was not fun.

Even though it might get cramped/chaotic indoors, I'm really glad that it's definitely on. Now that that suspense is done with...are credit cards accepted throughout the market & auctions?

Is the ballroom in a hotel?
Which subway train should I take from Penn Station to get me closest to the ballroom?
Thanks!
I don't think it's a hotel and the E to 50th Street.
Nope, not in a hotel.
From Penn Station you can take the 1 to 50th St. and then walk up to 52nd and turn left.

You can take the E to 50th St & 8th Ave, or the 1 to 50th & 7th Ave.
I can't imagine they're going to get much foot traffic by having this indoors up on 52nd St. Ideally I wish they just would have rescheduled for another day.

ok, thanks
Is this ballroom big? Or...let's say, big enough for the usual flea market crowd? I really hate crowds so I'm kinda worried. Is there a hotel nearby that I can go to if I get claustrophobic? Is this ballroom near the Gershwin theatre?

The E is not running this weekend so don't try to take that.
