Really? A couple of years ago at least at the premium booth you got the card either way. I did the Polaroid, but I saw people with their own cameras used get cards.
I didn't know that about the company that makes the film. I'm sure they've figured something out, especially since they haven't already said you must provide your own camera. They've done it long enough that people are used to having the option. Unless they're going to be set up like those photo people on the streets where they take a digital pic and print it out right there. But that ink could get EXPENSIVE.

Addy, I'd say about 5 to 10 minutes prior

I didn't get cards last year

Eris, thank you so much!
The crazy thing is that, I really haven't been to many Flea Markets, so not sure how it all works. I think this will be the year!
Thanks!

Addy, they do their best to get everyone in. It's pretty well organized and there were no issues last year.
btw...90% chance of Thunderstorms.
How hard would it have to rain for them to cancel the auction?
Another poster had mentioned that the auction, photo booth, and autograph table were moved inside one year. If we were just dealing with rain there might not be an issue but they may not want to mess with thunder and lightening.

Posted: 9/25/09 at 9:35amThe BC/EFA website has a message up saying that they've weathered rains in the past but to keep checking the site for updates should the weather prove to be absolutely horrible on Sunday.

According to the map both Avenue Q and Little Mermaid will have tables. Looks like the Triton Gallery Table is just outside Shubert Alley on 44th St. Sessions appears to be the only off-Broadway show to have a table.
ETA: I am not counting Avenue Q as an off-broadway show since it hasn't opened at NWS yet.

Posted: 9/25/09 at 12:16pmThe autograph tables have changed again! They are the way they were before the additions yesterday. Does anyone know if it is a mistake? I was looking forward to some of the additions posted yesterday.

You have to watch which link you click on because one is updated and one is not. I discovered that yesterday. If you go to the Flea Market main page you'll see pink box with the bit about the weather. Above that are three links one of them is "Celebrity Table". This link is the unupdated one.
If you scroll down you'll see five "Click here" buttons. The one listed as "to pre-view this year's celebrity table" is the updated one.

Other than John Stamos for $20 there don't appear to be special booths as there have been in past years. Should we assume that Bernadette and Chita will be more than $10?
I noticed that Gavin and Will are slated for the same time. Out of curiousity how many people would request the two of them together for $40?

Whoa. Is that map that Eris posted the way/order the tables are set up?
What are BID security officers?
If there is no "spot" on the map for a particular show, does that mean there will be no items from the show? (ie: If there is no Spelling Bee table, where would Spelling Bee items be sold?).
What is the point of the map telling us that there are 48-8' tables, 14-6' tables, 76 chairs, 6-wardrobe racks,etc..?
What is the point of having area captains?
Is Broadway Barks on Sunday too? (there is a section on that map)
Where exactly is the Avenue Q table located? ...or is there no exact point?
Is there an N2N table?
Sorry for the abundance of (possibly stupid) questions.
Thanks!

It seems as though Broadway Barks has a table. I know that they do have some merchandise like shirts. I don't know if they would bring a couple of animals though since this is a flea market and not an adoption day.
And, just to be sure, the closest restrooms are at the Marriott Marquis hotel? I just want to be sure that I'm not going to get in trouble if I were to go there to use them.

I would imagine so
If there is no "spot" on the map for a particular show, does that mean there will be no items from the show? (ie: If there is no Spelling Bee table, where would Spelling Bee items be sold?).
There might be some items from older shows mixed in with other stuff. There are tables that are not show specific like BWW and BC/EFA. They may have stuff.
What is the point of the map telling us that there are 48-8' tables, 14-6' tables, 76 chairs, 6-wardrobe racks,etc..?
I have to imagine that this map is not only for us but for the volunteers and organizers. A lot of the information on there is probably helpful to them.
What is the point of having area captains?
Volunteers have to report to someone. Makes more sense for each section to have a "captain" than one person overseeing the whole event.
Is Broadway Barks on Sunday too? (there is a section on that map)
They just have a table. As Marianne said they'll probably be selling merchendise like shirts or Bernadette's book.
Is there an N2N table?
In Shubert Alley. You can see it on the map

Posted: 9/25/09 at 2:47pmThe Marriott bathrooms are the BEST option because they're clean and not crowded. You won't get in trouble - hotel lobbies are public property and everybody uses those bathrooms. I used to work in the Broadway merchandise store and went to the lobby bathrooms instead.
