SweetQintheLights-I've never been there before, but I do know that they do concerts and other events there, if that tells you anything. And the Gershwin Theatre is just a block down between 50th & 51st.

I forget what floor or what it is called (the novotel maybe) but down the street from the Neil Simon towards 7th avenue there is a hotel where you could go if it gets too crowded for you

Ouch- flea market raised $90,000 less this year than it did last year. (2009 total $403,929 listed in the news article on the main page, 2008 total was $496,380 according to BCEFA website.)

I think that has to do with the economy as much as the change in venue.

I was thinking the same thing. Since the merchandise isn't all dirt cheap, you do have to watch what you spend.
