Hot diggity damn for American Idiot.

I guess this proves that people want to see the band, not karaoke.

NEXT TO NORMAL isn't doing half bad. They had that dip Labor day, but their grosses are creeping back up.

For those who thought NEXT TO NORMAL wouldn't have a life outside Broadway, well it's now playing in 4 cities, 9 different countries and has been translated into 6 languages.

I really love the way A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC keeps improving even though it's by a small margin.

Also surprised what little effect Patti LaBelle seems to have on FELA's box office unless this is her first full week. In fact it dropped over $112,000 compared to the previous week's take.

Even with Patti, I don't think many people have an interest in Fela!

I wouldn't know, are they advertising her presence heavily? Not just over the marquee

Edna, that's what I was wondering. My family in Philly loves Patti and they haven't mentioned it to me. That's where they want to advertise.

I still wonder if American Idiot will bring back Billie Joe again in the winter if they want to keep the show open past the New Year.

Still good numbers for La Cage, Night Music & Memphis!!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

That's a huge jump for American Idiot. I guess they need to start getting some rock stars in the show.

I just got an e-mail this week announcing 40% of Rock of Ages tickets. I'm wondering if it will survive without Constantine.
