A lot of schools have had their breaks already.

A little surprising at Wicked's 97%, it usually gets between 99 and 100. I wonder if they'll start advertising more now.

It'll probably close now.

I heard it was closing due to low ticket sales and being replaced with Tanz Der Vampire.
Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

I think most colleges had their break already. and I think high schools have it either this week or next week.

My college has off for Easter. I already had my Spring break in March. I think some colleges only have spring break and nothing off for Easter or some count this as their spring break. I don't know. But I know a few people who are off and a few people who don't have any days off for Easter.

"Nice. WSS has the highest attendance."
Nope, look at "seats sold"...Wicked still sold more.

Nobody cares about Wicked. It doesn't deserve to sell seats.

- But Wicked is in a bigger theater.
West Side was 244 seats short of selling out. And Wicked was 339 seats short of selling out. So I don't get what you're trying to say.

^Who cares, Wicked still sold more seats and made more money so it had a higher attendance. Percentages don't mean much without looking at the other figures.

It made more money. But i don't see how it sold more seats lol. You have to consider that Wicked is in a bigger theater. Obviously it's going to look like Wicked sold more seats, because it had more seats to sell. But WSS was closer to selling out. I did the math above.
But maybe I'm wrong? I don't see how.

There's a difference between who sold the most seats and who sold the highest percentage of seats. Yes, WSS sold the highest percentage of seats of any show, and therefore was closest to selling out. But Wicked actually sold the most seats, that's all.

In New England most schools have off the 3rd week of the month.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

CSonBroadway, your hatred of Wicked is almost comical. Clearly people care about Wicked since it sells the most seats (number wise, not percentage) and makes the most money. Stop hating things just because they are the most popular, it is almost depressing.

I don't hate Wicked. I don't dislike it either. I think it is OK. But it's very overrated and West Side Story deserves to be on top.

WICKED sells the most seats and makes the most money because it's in the biggest house on Broadway. So, yes, it sold the most seats and made the most money. But that's only because it has the most opportunity to do so. (I'm in no way bashing the show. I like it. I'm just stating a fact.)
