It looks like the Imperial Theatre has another hit. But I will be curious to see what its grosses will be like whenever Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'Hara leave.

Glad to see Once and Peter and the Starcatcher growing.
Summers just around the corner, Spiderman will make a killing then.
I think it's interesting to see Wicked in 3rd. When's the last time that happened?
Hmm a while. Not surprised though. LK does not offer lotto and has more premiums I believe. And with Book of Mormon's ticket prices, well that was only a matter of time haha
So happy that One Man, Two Guvnors is doing well (probably good word of mouth)
Spiderman will be fine. And I'm sure they could easily get some celebrity to come into the show if they needed.
Is this the lowest Wicked has been since it opened?
Very good week all around!
With this decline, Wicked won't make it past the summer!

Spider-Man should team with the Obama campaign and capitalize on the fact that Mormon is on Broadway and do this:
Create a campaign ad depicting Romney, dressed as a Mormon, with all of his fellow missionaries singing Bullying By Numbers where they hold Reeve Carney down and cut his hair.
End the ad with "This election year, do you want to be a bully, or do you want to Rise Above? Obama 2012. Brought to you, in part, by Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. Now playing only at The Foxwoods Theare, NY, NY".
Guaranteed, that will sell tickets.

Or better yet, "Brought to you by Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark - The official musical of America"
Awww....what a special day! Brownie, I actually enjoyed one of your posts!

Evita is doing great business. When will it recoup?
Evita just opened. It will MONTHS to recoup. Could be as few as 6 or closer to a year. (I doubt it would need to go more than a year) Of course, there is no guarantee, that it will continue to sell at this rate.

"Is this the lowest Wicked has been since it opened?"
No in the week ending on 9-11-2011, it grossed $1.2 million and it played eight performances.

1.2 million. (12 mill in a week would be awesome!)
^That makes more sense. I really think there are a lot of other examples though but I don't feel like taking the time to find out.
(On a completely unrelated note - just noticed I became a "legend" at some point. I don't know when but it must've been kind of recently!)
Glad to see the slow but steady improvements for ONCE, STARCATCHER, and PORGY AND BESS. I think these will be three shows that get a steady new interest throughout the next couple months.
PS - how does ones "title" change, broadwaydevil??
it has to do with the number of posts you have made. No idea what the 'scehdule' is though.
Wicked was the first thing I noticed, so many other good shows for people to go to now, if the figures stay like this in the summer, I can see the producers looking at TKT's as a option, has the show recouped yet?
