If you are planning to dress up as a Broadway (or Off-) character this year, who will it be, and how will you creatively pull it off, assuming you don't have a whole costume department available?
As for me, in honor of the upcoming resurrection of "Carrie," I'm going to dust off my old prom dress and go crazy with the fake blood. I was Mrs. Lovett a few years ago, and baked meat pies for the occasion.
Fun times. Share yours!

Posted: 10/28/10 at 1:53pmA few years ago I went as Marcy Park. I spent about $6 at Goodwill finding a plaid skirt and a white shirt, and less than $1 at Beverley's to find a ribbon to make a bow for my hair. It was a lot of fun, even though all my co-workers thought I was just some private school girl.

I bought Bernadette's Follies earrings at the flea market...maybe I'll just put those on and throw on a pink dress and call myself Sally.
Or a red dress and go as the Kennedy Center production.
Decisions decisions...
