What shows do you think will be closing soon on Broadway?

By January: Head Over Heels, Gettin' the Band Back Together, Summer, Once on this Island, Beautiful, Kinky Boots

Within the next year: Waitress, Anastasia, maybe Pretty Woman

Summer just got extended to next August, and is Kinky boots really closing? or do you think it will close?

Summer announced it is selling tickets until August. That is NOT an extension. You can’t extend an open ended run.

Unfortunately it does look like Kinky Boots is nearing the end of it's run. When you look at it's percent capacity compared to other shows, it's been a little iffy. It really needs another Urie to come in and bring it back, but I don't think the new guy they're bringing in after Cook can do it. They're either going to cut his run short, or have him finish it out and close.

Pretty Woman isn’t going anywhere soon. It’s been selling out, broke af least one box office record for The Nederlander and is still going strong. I think that When it is time for the original cast to leave, it would have done very well at the box office to still sustain its run with replacements.
