Has it been confirmed that All the way is taking the Simon? Also, the Bodyguard is not coming in this season.
Why would All The Way take the Simon, a prime musical house?

Why not? All the playhouses seem to be taken by musicals: the Schoenfeld, the Jacobs, the Lyceum, the Atkinson, the Walter Kerr, the Broadhurst, the Eugene O'Neill, the Ambassador, the Virginia...though I doubt that All the Way will go into the Neil Simon.
Unless it's a very large play. I thought it was a one-man show with Bryan Cranston.
Where is the Toni Collette- Marisa Tomei- Michael C.Hall-Tracy Letts starrer "The Real Jones" going?
ALL THE WAY is not a one-man play. The cast numbers at least 15. If the producers think they can really capitalize on the Cranston/Breaking Bad wave, they may be able to get away with playing at the Simon as a limited engagement.

Next person that says All The Way is going into the Simon is getting a punch in the throat, its going into the Longacre, Honeymoon In Vegas is going into the Simon.

Sorry to break it to you PlayItAgain but you are going to end punching yourself in the throat. All The Way is going to the Simon.
They probably want a limited engagement at the Neil Simon since the new Sting musical is rumored to be playing there next year.

its been 20 years since a play has been in the Simon, the producers of ATW would be crazy to put it in there.

Punch yourself in the throat, PlayItAgain. bwayphreak234 is correct: The Last Ship is going into the Simon in the fall. ATW will play a limited engagement in the interim.
How about Madison County and Rocky.
So is HONEYMOON making the transfer this season?
Jason Robert Brown made a joke at his 54 Below concert on Monday night that led me to believe they are having difficulty finding a theater for Honeymoon in Vegas (something about building a theater on an empty plot of land in midtown Manhattan). I wonder if something else has the Simon booked already for the spring, since it seems like that house would be the ideal for that show.

If the Sting musical has the Simon for the fall as rumored, then that might be why a Honeymoon is having trouble finding one.

I mean give props to ATW for taking the risk and opening in the Simon. Running on the craze of Breaking Bad is a really smart marketing plan. And just another question, is it confirmed that The Bodyguard will be taking the Marquis. Are they going to hold off on the renovations?

Realistic Jones will likely go to the Cort and Mothers and Sons to the Golden.
PlayItAgain, how did it feel when you punched yourself in the throat?
The Marquis will undergo renovations come January. If King Kong takes the Foxwoods, it could be a year before it starts previews and the entire theater was redone for Spiderman. If wonder if Dames at Sea will now take The Booth. I have to wonder what show will take The Palace(Honeymoon in Vegas??). And I'm guessing Cinderella will stay put for the winter as it doesn't seem like anyone is looking into taking the Broadway.

If the Marquis is having renovations done, I'm just wondering why can't The Bodyguard open at the Broadway. IMO, I think Cinderella is going to close sometime in the spring and that would open the Broadway to house The Bodyguard for an informal summer opening. Also, the Adelphi Theater in London seats 1500 and the Broadway seats about 1700. So, the seat difference is only 2000 and I think the musical would be more successful over here for certain reasons.
ACL, ya missed one: Ambassador : Chicago. I must say that last week's grosses for the show were incredible...and not in a good way.
I wonder if OMAM will be any good.
