I wonder why they haven't brought in a teleprompter for ALNM. It would be far less invasive and distracting then prompts from the wings.

This is the best performance of the night. Absolutely legend. Who the hell wants to see a perfectly polished and rehearsed and boring song. This is real theatre. I love Stritch. BRAVA.

I didnt mean it in a bad way Mildred, I CERTAINLY hope im still kicking it like that at her age. She is very charming, I was only observing that it must be a struggle for her, her senility is clearly a struggle for her. She is absolutely deserving of the role, and the opportunity, shes a legend.

But it's not real theatre, it's a filmed performance at the White House for the president. This is on par with the awkwardness of Marilyn Monroe singing Happy Birthday.
