Posted: 5/24/05 at 9:12pmThere are great things to come for this phenomenal cast. Eden should return to Wicked after Shosh leaves. Sad to see this show go. Honestly, I enjoyed it. I wasnt nearly as bad as people on here make it out to be...as I say all the time, go into a show expecting to enjoy it not to see a masterpeice because you rarely do. :)

Eden should keep away from Wicked and let Saycon take over!
NO JOKE!

Posted: 5/24/05 at 9:17pmYeah whoever said that Eden should return to Wicked is out of their minds. First of all, Shoshana is 10X better in the show than Eden and Shoshana is contracted for a long time. Eden will move onto other projects, but is no longer "suited" for Wicked.

Funny quote...

As much as I enjoyed this show, I'm not surprised it's closing either.
Keyword there: enjoyed
I certainly didn't LOVE this show, but it did feature an amazing core of vocal talent. This show put a smile on my face, and that's all. I hold no bitterness towards it, but I was waiting for this news anyday. Haha. As for the Wicked debate...I agree with emo, I think Eden can do better. I love Wicked and I think Eden is eons better than Shoshana. But at the Brooklyn stagedoor, when someone asked "Hey! I remember you in Wicked! I loved you in that show!" She replied, "Oh. Well...that was a long time ago." So, I think she's moved on from that scene.

Posted: 5/24/05 at 10:16pmI saw the show this past December. Thought it was complete crap, but I loved the cast. But I think it is time for them to move on. I hope Eden and Karen don't stay away too long.

its about very young people. which is why i never saw it.
Why are they so few grown up roles in modern musical theatre?
was Sunset Blvd the last show written for a musical theatre diva?
Even Chicago seems to have become "cast pretty young things" these days when it was originally about a pair of menopausal attention seekers.
