Yeah this feels like a fallacy: Brando would have killed for a project like Breaking Bad. I’m not saying that BB was better than Godfather or Streetcar, I’m just saying that prestige television changed EVERYTHING. It’s one of the most demanding and exacting actor’s mediums; Brando never had a 36-hour, three-year script by the best writers in any medium to sink his teeth into.

Bryan Cranston has clarified that he's not actually retiring at the age of 70, he just plans on taking a year-long hiatus from acting at that time.

The rumor is he is the Broadway transfer Nathan Detroit. It's pretty much a done deal.

That would be some BIZARRE casting...if they want to go with a 67-year-old goyim as Nathan Detroit, perhaps Nathan Lane should just do it again?
