Ooh ooh ooh! I cannot WAIT for this!!
Kristin Chenoweth for Guenevere! Pretty please?
And please... start planning ahead regarding recording this broadcast. It is part of LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER therefore it will NOT -- I repeat... it will NOT be released on DVD. LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER programs are property of the Lincoln Center not PBS, therefore they only air a couple of times on PBS and that's it.
Shows that air on PBS's Great Performances series do get released on DVD, but not LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER programs.
Yes, this is why THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, CONTACT, PASSION IN CONCERT nor TWELTH NIGHT were NOT released on DVD.
Capice?
I know I am in the minority with this, but if they do the tour cast, it would be awesome!

I didn't see the tour, but I'd love to see Rachel York play Guenevere.

I was talking about phillips, debenedit, and bogart, not york, york, and barbour.
I was about to say--- I don't think Barbour will be doing this production....
Anyway, I can't wait and I don't even CARE who is in it. I LOVE Camelot and will take anything I can get with that story and/or score. Sigh.... It's the only "classic" musical that I absolutely adore.

All they need is the right 65 year old man to play Arthur . . .

I know this is fantasy time, but can you imagine how wonderful Hugh Jackman would be as Arthur?

I believe Audra is set for Guenevere.
Would Steven Pasquale's schedule allow him to do Lancelot?
The tour closes on March 20th so it would be really neat if they get Matt Bogart to play Lancelot. He was the standout on tour.
I always picture Audra as a perfect Guenevere.
My old dream cast used to be : Brian Stokes Mitchell as Arthur, Audra as Guenevere and James Barbour as Lancelot
OK, so Barbour is not an option any more. (As an Barbour fan, I have to admit I wasn't very impressive with his Lancelot in the Camlot tour anyway.) Maybe Aaron Lazar?
Arthur,what about Kevin Kline?
So excited for this!
My local PBS (KVIE Sacramento) hasn’t broadcast Company yet and doesn’t have it listed on their website to be broadcast anytime in the near future, so I hope they broadcast Camelot.
Rachel York PLEASE!!! Her performance needs to be seen by all!!! Simply stunning

I'm so mad I missed the tour this past weekend! I mean, honestly, who doesn't have a Sunday evening showing?! All tours have Sunday evening showings! Ugh! I'm so pissed because I really wanted to see Matt Bogart.

Matt Bogart was great as Lancelot! Loved his "C'est moi". He was hot and hilarious. Too bad you missed him! I even found that I liked Lou Diamond Phillips in the lead--not the greatest singer, but a decent actor.

I feel ya, westcoast. However, while KVIE's track record with Great Performances is lowsy, they're much more consistent with Live From Lincoln Center. But, unline Live From Lincoln Center, at least the Great Performances stuff usually becomes available on DVD.
I'd like to see a hilarious Lancelot.
Audra is wonderful, but I don't think I've ever seen her do comedy, so I'll have to take you guys' word for it that she'll be a good Guenevere!

Re Hugh Jackman - that would really be great, but I think he will still be filming "Wolverine" in May.
