Well -- I actually still have it on my only mini-tape stored away. It will be worth something one day! My one tape includes two interviews with Daniel Letterle talking about High School in Cleveland, Ohio. ... Family life ... His wife how he met her while doing Grease in Germany ... (I think it was Germany) and then he told me a bit about what Camp was like, his character. The normal interview stuff. The first phone call had a great deal about high school shows because I saw him in Bye, Bye Birdie when he played Conrad ... and it had already said in one newspaper that he could not carry a tune ... And then I listen to "I Sing For You" and I fall in love with his voice! Haha. But he's a very nice guy.
It's scary how I got a hold of him and I can't believe I thought like a real reporter to contact him.
Since his mom wouldn't give me his phone number or e-mail, I re-read the previous article about him and saw that his non-acting realated job in NYC was mentioned. I looked up the phone number on the internet, he was busy, left a message and then an hour later I get a phone call from him. I felt really honored. I work at a grocery store in Cleveland right now and I get relatives of his all the time.

High Schools have done Company.. it makes me want to cry though lol.
The year my High School musical was up against another NJ HS who did Company for the Rising Star Awards at Papermill. IIt was 04. Company beat us for the big award, best musical. Sick, I tell you. Not because I wanted my school to win, I'm not thrilled with the how our drama department is run. BUT a HS doing Company.. makes me.. angry.

Daniel Letterle (Vlad in camp) is in "The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green". I think its playing in movie theaters in NYC.

by far my favorite line in the movie.
did anyone notice that the tap dancing teacher, was the guy who tapped people off the stage in Showtime at the Apollo.

Interesting about your interview with Daniel.
"His wife"???
Did he and Kelli finally get married??? Really? That's news. Actually, have heard that they've broken up after many years together...but haven't had the chance to actually check this out yet.
She did "Grease" in Germany with him...and she also toured in "Grease" in the U.S. for Troika. Very talented, nice girl. Cute couple (are or were).

Actually, the reason I asked was that Kelli was always presented as his "fiancee" rather than "wife" so was just wondering about just when that changed.

If just for youself, I can kinda understand why his mom was hesitant about giving out his contact info... No offense, but attractive folks in movies probably get lots of attention and requests for contact info...

I could do without ANOTHER movie-based musical, but I must admit, this movie is one of my FAVORITE guilty pleasures! It definitely isn't the best movie ever made, but there's alot of young talent in the movie and I'm sure we'll be seeing/hearing alot of these kids in the future!

He was married when he filmed CAMP?
At the end of the credits a quick scene comes up with Martha saying "This place is a dumb". I assume that this is from COMPANY but can somebody please remind me where in COMPANY that scene is. Thank You!

ah.
I'm not sure if the line is in the play Who's afraid of virginia woolf" but it is in the movie.
I think CAMP was doing a take on Liz in the film role- not Uta Hagen on stage.

First off -- this was one cheese-fest, lame-ass film. Painful.
Second -- "...what a dump!" is a famous Bette Davis quote (from the film BEYOND THE FOREST) which is strongly featured in the opening moments of Edward Albee's WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOLF?.
MARTHA: "George! Where is that line from -- "...what a dump!"?
GEORGE: "Martha...you're obsessed with that phrase"
