I can see her as Morrible in Wicked
as Carmen Bernstein, replacing (can you replace the irreplacable?) Debra Monk in Curtains
The adult women in Spring Awakening.
I want to see her on the Great White Way!
She could reprise her role as Mrs. Lynch in Grease.

Who's "sally struthers" - - one of your made up friends?
She is an actress who has made a better living in show business than YOU ever will. Plus she has a great humanitarian record.
So while you are killing time on here between auditions Sally is getting paid to act. Not to mention the little business of helping the starving children of the world.

This is funny, Rick, because I've always thought she was the perfect physical type to play you. Maybe that's why you have such an affinity for her. You see her when you look in the mirror.
Except she's pretty.

I really hated her on Still Standing! Oh, her acting was good, she played that character really well, she just really pissed me off!

I can't help but think of the Starvin' Marvin episode of South Park when her name is mentioned nowadays.
No, Starvin' Marvin, that's a bad Starvin' Marvin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good actors sometimes risk being hated if it means being true to the character.
LuPonatic, she's funny as sh*t on that show!
"Yooohooo, it's Na-naaaa!"
I think she looks better now then she did in her petite All in the Family days.
She was a stick girl then.. she is all ample woman now. I think my girlfriend gets jealous when I stop everything if she happens to appear on the TV screen.
If Debra Monk had a bigger TV career my relationship might seriously be in trouble.
It looks like the Ogunquit Playhouse isn't the only place Sally will be playing Jeanette in "The Fully Monty" this summer. Apparently she'll be playing the role at the Pittsburgh CLO too:
"Two-Time Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Struthers will join the cast of The Full Monty as Jeanette Burmeister. Ms. Struthers is best known for her inspired portrayal of Gloria Stivic on the legendary television series "All In The Family." On Broadway, she appeared in Neil Simon's female version of The Odd Couple and Wally's Café as well as Tommy Tune's Broadway and touring production of Grease. In 2003, she was in the CLO production of Annie in the role of Miss Hannigan..."

I'm trying to work that out in my schedule to see it.
I'm still pissed that I missed her Big Mama in Cat on Hot Tin Roof last year.

She's hilarious on GILMORE GIRLS. If that show goes bye-bye at the end of the season (according to the rumors), she'll need to find another TV role!
Sally has appeared in productions of HELLO DOLLY and WHOREHOUSE in Minneapolis because she's good friends with a local director. From what I've heard from friends that have worked with her, she is a kind, funny, generous actress.
If they adjust the choreography, could she pull off Mrs. Tottendale in DROWSY..??

For your benefit, "actor," Sally Struthers played Gloria Stivic on All in the Family with Carroll O'Conner, Jean Stapleton and Rob Reiner, who was actor before he started directing films. She was also the voice of the girl dinosaur on the Jim Henson series, Dinosaurs, and at one time was also the voice of Pebbles Flintstone. She had her own series, Gloria for one season, costarring with Burgess Meredith. She's also been on other TV shows, including, I believe, 9 to 5.
She is a great humanitarian who has been actively involved in the Christian Children's Fund and other causes.
On Broadway, she has played Miss Lynch in Grease. She has also toured in that role, as well as Miss Hannigan in Annie. She works extensively in the theatre.
In Minneapolis, over the past several years, she's appeared as Dolly in Hello, Dolly! and Miss Mona in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at the Bloomington Civic Theatre. Along with its artistic director, John Command, this year she also appeared in their production of Love Letters.
She's evidently playing Jeanette in Full Monty (which Bloomington Civic produced without her earlier this season) and their upcoming season includes A Little Night Music. It wouldn't surprise me if she plays Madame Armfeldt in that.
Sally Struthers is a very talented woman, who has made quite a career for herself. Next time, instead of making idiotic statements, why not look the person up on a website like imdb.com.?

haha like are you serious?
wow tahts all nice and all but i want an easy button NOW
Mattbrain,
The problem with South Park is that everyone who is under 30 now only thinks of her from that. They don't know all her history..
And I can honestly say, she is one of the nicest people I know. So, I can't bear to watch that episode of SP, because it's just mean and wrong.

I would like to point out that I am under 30, and I watch "All in the Family" and knew her from THAT before I did anything else. Only after I started watching "Gilmore girls" in reruns did I know she was on it.
Well, you HAVE always been an exception to the rules, Husky...
Also, she just shot the FINAL episode of Gilmore Girls, ever this last week. Yes, it's coming to an end.
SO CAST SALLY IN SOMETHING NEW, FOLKS!
