I would love to recreate Miss Saigon and Sunset Boulevard! But I don't have any pictures of the sets, proscenium and curtain. Same with Millie, and Curtains. If anyone has any pictures they'd like to send me of these sets I'd appreciate it!

They are lovely......however........

...........within 2 weeks, we have a singer and a set designer (or re-creator) both fishing for compliments on here. And amazingly, getting them.

Maybe I missed the memo but is this the purpose of this board? I thought that self promotion was done on Facebook.

I mean, if people thought that the singer and the set designer's work sucked I have no doubt that they would have said so.

BWW posters aren't shy.

But maybe, just maybe their work is pretty good and deserves some constructive feedback.

Personally, if I wanted feedback on my music (which is theatrical) I would go to a place where the general community is knowledgeable about such things.

Matt, if you don't like the designs, say so and move on. There is no need to be tacky to the others who do like them. And while you're being sarcastic, if someone would like to share their costume designs and acting scene, feel free. We're here to discuss all things theatre, so share your art.

kyl3fong2 - The Spider-Man one is good. Dare I say it's better than the show? I mean the best part of Spider-Man is the visual presentation! :)

Ahhhh, thanks so much for educating me on what we are here to discuss. Now I understand. By the way, the first line of my post was that the designs are lovely. But why someone needs the endorsement of a bunch of strangers to make them feel good about themselves is another story. Wait till someone posts themselves reading a monologue or singing a song that does not meet all your collective standards and I will just sit back and watch the bitches attack the red meat. Then we will see who the true dick is.

This is a message board where we can discuss everything Broadway related (and those that are not). We have threads for favorite set designs and this is no different than that. These set designs just happen to have been re-interpreted by a board member. It is just a person sharing his talent and work which obviously took a long time to do. He is sharing it to a community that would obviously understand his creation and the shows he is referring to. You say he should post it on FB. I'm sure 90% of his friends there would have no idea nor care what "Next to Normal" or "Billy Elliot" are.

Matt Rogers- I assure you I don't need the attention and compliments of strangers to make me feel good about myself. I merely posted this on here because I thought of any website, this is where I thought people would appreciate it the most. I also did not ask if they were good or for opinions. I'm sorry if it annoys you. But thank you for the compliment as well.

Everythingtaboo - I technically only have 2 boxes. The one is the Wicked box, the other is where all the other shows are in and it has Velcro and other stuff on it o I can interchange them. So I have lots of accordion folders with the sets in them. As for the Flea Market, I don't know when it is, or if I could get enough done for that, but I doubt I'll make it there this year at least.

Morosco - to be honest I don't know. I thought I had seen one in my online searches, but maybe not. Anyway, whenever there isn't a curtain, I put a black one, for the sake of keeping the inside safe when I store them and then for creating "suspense" when I show people
