It's been running non-equity since 2019. They've probably run out of stops at this point.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I did see the Cellblock Tour stop in Houston, in June of 2019.  I saw the show on two consecutive days.  Dylis Croman was Roxie with Lana Gordon as Velma.

I imagine that the adverse ( and deservedly so ) reaction from the audience was sufficient, without any commentary from those involved with the show.

Since there's a new Roxie and Billy Flynn, it would be great to see a few pics of them in the show.  Chicago does have a photographer.  Show us some pics...already!

Ryan Lowe returned as Mary Sunshine for just two shows(April 27 & 28) and has been out since. Very odd.

Hopefully, Ryan will return to the show soon.  I'm curious as to who is the next Velma.  My wild guess is either Robyn Hurder or Bianca Marroquin.

One year contract is up. He's very talented but called out a lot. He probably has something else lined up.

Carmen-Jones has extended as Velma through August 30.

I was wondering why they added a Thursday matinee for the week. That explains it and thus, they only have a matinee on Sunday.

Billy Flynn isn't funny. I can see him going off track during "Both Reached For the Gun". Doesn't seem like the correct role for Lane. But he can sing.

Of course Billy is funny.  

"Chicago...where they'll shoot the girl right out from under you."

"Let 'em in, butch."

"If Jesus had had $500 dollars, let's just say the outcome would have been different."

All of his interactions with Amos (or rather "Andy".

The question is --- can Matteo play the role "straight"?  Having Billy sound like a bitchy Chelsea queen won't work.  I'm a HUGE fan of his -- so hopefully he can!
